I accidentally took away the spotlight from @_williamschwabe_ & @_paytonwest_ at their own engagement party by slipping while trying to get off a trampoline and dislocating my left knee. Scroll through for pictures courtesy of Payton (love ya darling Will’s found a wonderful lady that’s made his life absolutely nothing but better) and myself as the night went on. Imagine the kind of questions I asked and replied to 😂. When they asked if I wanted pain meds I said “anything but the sackler kind” 🤣.

With @skydance now owning two major studios there’s a lot of feelings about it. Here’s mine. This is coming from someone who’s been a fan of David Ellison for quite some time and appreciate what he’s done in regard to franchises and the fact that he’s one of the few executives that seems to actually love movies. However ever since he got @paramountpics it seems he’s focused less on making a good slate to have some healthy competition with the other studios he’s only been focused on getting @warnerbros. There’s many thoughts I have on this but here’s the ones I can get across in 90 seconds. #paramountpictures #warnerbrothers #hollywood #rants #fyp taken in Carmichael, California by @dthill96

After @paulwalker passed away and we had that beautiful tribute in #furious7 it felt like we should’ve ended the franchise there. Because while many entries since the 7th one have been entertaining they’re missing the presence of Paul and the character of Brian O’Conner. They’ve discussed potentially bringing him back using AI for “Fast Forever” but I really hope that’s not what they’re gonna do. What are your guys thoughts on this? #podcastclips #rippaulwalker #sacramento #fyp taken in CitySound by @dthill96

#2fast2furious is a sequel that I feel gets an undeserved amount of hate. @johnsingleton made an extremely entertaining follow up that brings us to a whole new location, new characters and a soundtrack that still holds up. The big things that make this one stand out: No Vin Diesel (he & Robert Cohen were making “xXx” right after finishing the first one), Introduction of Tyrese Gibson @ludacris & @devonaoki. Famously @jarule had to turn down a chance to come back due to scheduling conflicts with his tour. With @ludacris coming in that’s now 7 appearances in the franchise. I don’t know if @jarule has any regrets about it but I think everything worked out for the best. #podcasts #sacramento #thefastandthefurious #fyp taken in CitySound by @dthill96

#obsession is the mega hit nobody saw coming. Deservedly so because it’s not only one of the year’s best films but brings a new voice in horror in @curry.barker. It sparked many conversations and has now paved the way (along with @kanepixels’ #backrooms) for the next generation of filmmakers. Have you seen it if so what did you think? #sacramento #podcasting #fyp taken in CitySound by @dthill96

They’ve attempted so many reboots in the past ten years it’s on a ridiculous level. Whenever an actor of a show that’s been off the air for a long time is asked if there will ever be a reboot I know the answer they wanna give is no but they won’t out of courtesy. I mean #schittscreek ended like 6 years ago and they were already getting asked if the show would ever come back. Instead of bringing a property back for 8-26 episodes give us at most a two hour movie to catch us up (which is the only way you can bring back “The Office” and that’s what they’re trying to do with “Community”). Thoughts??? #reboot #podcastclips #sacramento #fyp taken in CitySound by @dthill96

Talking #fastfive (which many consider to be the best in the franchise) and with this entry we’re introduced to @therock as Luke Hobbs. This is also one of the performances that I think brought #dwaynejohnson to the next level as a leading man. Was bringing The Rock in a key reason to the franchise’s success? Comment below. #podcasts #thefastandthefurious #fyp taken in CitySound by @dthill96
