Design Week Philippines is back, and this year we invite everyone to Sama All—show up, join in, and design together!

Now on its 15th year, we are going bigger, bringing in more regional partners, and officially joining the World Design Weeks community.

From 10 to 18 October, expect a week packed with things to see, make, try, discover, and experience—with more communities, sectors, and design disciplines coming together to make ideas happen.

The Design Center of the Philippines welcomed representatives of the Export Development Board (EDB) of Sri Lanka for a Consumer Trends Seminar and Site Visit at Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls on 14 October 2026.

The program provided an opportunity to share insights on Philippine design landscape, explore local design innovations, and discuss the role of consumer trends in enterprise development and market differentiation.

The visit included an Agency Briefing, a tour of the 50 Years of Philippine Design Exhibition and Design Timeline, the Product Clinic, and visits to the Likhang Filipino galleries featuring Philippine products, traditional arts, and crafts. This was followed by a Consumer Trends Seminar led by Design Chief Carla Mae Leonor, which explored shifting consumer preferences, global trends related to craft, and the use of trends as a tool for enterprise development and responding to evolving market demands.

Through knowledge exchange, participants of the delegation learned about the uniqueness of the Philippine design culture, and Design Center's commitment to handicraft through design and innovation. They were also inspired by the galleries, presentations, and the people.

Join our Polymer Clay Accessories Workshop, a hands-on creative livelihood session by ARTreach Projects designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of polymer clay while also understanding how handmade products can become a small source of income.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

MAKE — earrings, charms, and small accessories
TELL — build story, color, form, and character into your pieces
COST — understand basic material and labor costing
