Downingtown East’s 14th annual Spread the Word game🩷🩵💚🧡

Spread the Word was created to end the R-Word which is the most common phrase used to demean, insult, and discriminate against people with disabilities, and it has an extremely negative effect on social and self-esteem of people it’s used against. East students take a stance against this word and help teach others the negative effects.

Inclusive environments are key to feeling socially accepted, and social acceptance is key to the mental and physical well-being of all, intellectual disability or not. Everyone deserves to be included! taken in Downingtown East High School by @dtowneastcheer
