Introducing Spinach: The sickest sport around town.

Spinach is a spikeball-like sport played in the service boxes of a tennis court! The player from the right service box serves the ball, and the receiving team has three collective hits to get the ball back over the net. After the serve, the ball can only bounce on the ground once every time it comes over to a team's side, so teams are forced to set and pass just like spikeball and volleyball.

Spinach has an amazing community at Downtown Southern Pines and NC State University, and after being created in 2018, the sport has grown into a fantastic activity to exercise and interact with a positive atmosphere!

So what are you waiting for? Come down to Spinach and give it a try, you won't regret it! We'll see you on the court! 🍃

Special thank you to all the amazing people that made this video possible!

Are you wanting to get better at Spinach or improve aspects of your Spinach game?! Well you’re in luck! Starting this week, we are not hosting Spinach Clinics at 5:45 PM, before Spinach starts at 6:15!

These clinics are a fantastic place to improve and get better at the sport, while also still being in that awesome Spinach environment! These are completely free of course, so feel free to come out to these clinics and have some fun! 🔥🍃

A huge congratulations to Celery Sticks for taking home the victory at todays spinach tournament. Philip, Tad, and Nathaniel were able to win the best of 5 for all the marbles after, and got to bite the onion. Thanks to all who came by, see you at the next one. by @dtspspinach
