Some moments are meant to be silly, some are meant to be cherished… and some are both. ❤️

Happy Birthday to my girl. Keep smiling, keep shining — Dad’s always got your back. 🥰❤️

A few days back it was my birthday.
No big plans. No loud celebrations.

Just a quiet moment to pause…
and look at how far life has come.

Some things changed.
Some things stayed.

And somewhere in between,
you learn to slow down a little.

Grateful for the people.
Grateful for the journey.

Birthdays feel different as you grow, don’t they?

The stage stayed the same, life wrote a different story.

Turns out being a girl dad also means…
you get really good at fit checks.

She sees me better than I see myself.

Last year at Juhu Beach in Mumbai, a local beach photographer stopped me.

You know the type.
Camera in hand.
Walking the shoreline.
Looking for moments.

My first thought?

Why would I pay for a photo when I already carry a high end camera in my pocket?

But I said yes.

No retakes.
No filters.
No checking the screen.

Just instinct.

When I saw the photos later, they were not perfect.

But they felt different.

Maybe it was never about megapixels.

Maybe it was about the eye behind the camera.

In a world full of selfies, maybe being seen hits differently.

Would you pay a beach photographer today?

Comment Yes or No.

Confusion is not failure.
It’s part of figuring things out.

Mussoorie doesn’t change loudly.
It changes quietly.

Some places close.
Some names fade.

But a few remain —
like something out of a Ruskin Bond page.

If you grew up here in the 80s or 90s,
you know what I mean.

Which one would you walk into first?

We bottled it. They talk it out.

Beneath the tree, time pauses while the mirror remembers the distance.
