Good things come to those who dream, practice discipline, patience, love hard, show compassion, and smile in the face of adversity. Stay in the present and the future will lay out it’s plans vividly in due time. Your best is happening. #happysaturday #inspiration taken in Los Angeles, California by @duandempsey

44. My Obama year. 9/18/82

44 is known as the Master Builder: the number of leadership, discipline, abundance and turning big dreams into something lasting. It’s about taking everything life has taught you and using it to build with greater purpose.

That’s how I’m entering this chapter: This year is about walking fully in my power, building my legacy and creating a life that feels as meaningful as it looks.

Chapter 44: Construction Underway

Thanks for allowing me to see another year God 🙏🏾 #birthday taken in Los Angeles, California by @duandempsey

Gratitude Hikes.

In a few days, I’ll enter my Obama year: 44. This journey has carried me through just about every emotion life has to offer. The incredible highs, the humbling lows, and every unexpected turn in between.

But moments like this remind me that what makes the journey so beautiful are the people we connect with along the way.

I love my life. I love the people in it. I wouldn’t change my story for anything. taken in Runyon Canyon Park by @duandempsey

The vision? Our client said he wanted desert-inspired… but make it lush, inviting and give it a touch of class.

We transformed this backyard by blending the natural warmth of the desert with soft greenery, grass and elevated finishes to create a space that feels completely refreshed.

What was once just a backyard is now a tranquil outdoor escape — warm, sophisticated and designed for everything from quiet mornings to evenings spent entertaining.

Desert soul. Lush living. Premium Sonos surround sound. Effortless luxury.

Now THIS is a backyard transformation. #d2nexthome #backyardglowup #renovation 🌿🌵✨ taken in Los Angeles, California by @duandempsey

Take the pen and start writing the next pages of your story.

A meaningful life doesn’t happen by accident, it happens by choice.

You’re the curator.

PS, if it doesn’t have the good, bad, ugly, wins, losses, chaos and drama is it even worth reading? Live baby… LIVE! #travel #brazil #adventure taken in Brazil by @duandempsey
