On a wet day of trail hiking behind @chateau_orquevaux @studio_chateau_orquevaux I came upon a lush, mossy log sprouting these cool little 'shrooms. I did not eat them. That would have been either very bad, or very groovy, man... taken in Chateau Orquevaux by @duaneromanell

Was kidnapped to Ticonderoga, NY this weekend by the Mrs. as an early birthday surprise and met... uh... THIS GUY! We were also given a tour by James Cawley who inherited blueprints from the original Star Trek TV show and built out a faithful, screen-accurate reproduction of all the sets as they would have appeared on the Desilu soundstage nearly 60 years ago @star_trek_set_tour To say I was in "Nerdvana" is an understatement. Thanks to @jamesmcawley for sharing your amazing labor of love with the world. And to @csromanell for obviously being the best wife in the known Universe.❤️ And to @williamshatner for remaining the legend and inspiration to so many of us - for decades. As the kids say... One of the two swans that hold court in the La Manoise River tributary that runs through @chateau_orquevaux @studio_chateau_orquevaux From what we experienced, they were either quite accommodating hosts, or extremely territorial. I found keeping a modest distance was the best course of action... taken in Chateau Orquevaux by @duaneromanell

After a week or so of rain @chateau_orquevaux @studio_chateau_orquevaux the sun came out and started to burn off the moisture in the hills. A lot of nice fog started to rise, and at one point the light was intense enough to offer some amazing effects... taken in Chateau Orquevaux by @duaneromanell
