Today we gathered a van full of items to take to my hometown in need. Special thanks to Miles Mason for his donations. It really meant a lot. He helped us buy so many containers in bulk of batteries and over 50 households got flood lamps to help at night.

Then I had to be up at 6am putting a boxing ring together. If you’ve never done this it is a heavy and tedious task. Only for the ring to be put together wrong and the entire USA Boxing crew had to do an emergency rearranging of the boards and they helped out as the boxing community always does.

But in between that at 10 o’clock out of love and obligation I had to be part of my fraternity brother’s funeral service. Rest In Paradise Val Jid

Then I had to go back to the event, host from 4-9pm. Then tear down the heavy tedious ring with some help from Chuck Mason, Jeff, and Patrick Hutchinson. And at 11pm I’m finally home.

Keep in mind, that yesterday we had to unload the ring out of storage, take it to the event location, unload it into the event location, and we put half of it up.

Running on 48 hours and only 4 hours of sleep.

But from the love we were showed, I’d do it all again next weekend. Thank you to everyone for all of their support. Indy Juneteenth….WE DID IT AGAIN!!!! And shout out to the homie Coach T Tyra Keuchler for the dope pic. by @dubb_webb

Many of the boxing gyms that support Indy Juneteenth come from Gary, IN my hometown. We all know what’s going on in Gary. Through it all our teams are still committed to coming down for the event. So with that in mind we will be collecting items needed for families in Gary that will help them at this time.

We will be collecting these items at the door and will be needing volunteers to help sort things out. If your organization, business, or family would like to make an in-kind donation these are the products that have been requested from families. Please share and pass on. Every little bit helps. And if the power is back on by the time of the event we will donate the items to resource centers and shelters close by. Any help would be great!!!

The new De La Soul just dropped. It’s dedicated to Trugoy The Dove, their brother Dave. My brother was a De La fan. This timing I may not understand. But I need this album right now. My brother passed this year on November 2nd and we would’ve went crazy on the phone. But like they just said, If we stop then they stop. My brother was an author. I have a few of his stories. I will be finishing them and publishing them. This album, I’m only one song in, and I’m thankful for De La Soul. Long live my brother Timothy Webb, long live Trugoy The Dove, long live @wearedelasoul . Thank You by @dubb_webb

Shout out to my son Priest joining the Divine 9. Watching your children become independent adults is a journey of its own. We needed something fun and positive to see. Proud of the man he’s becoming. by @dubb_webb

Actually there’s nothing new under the sun
So when life is stressing me
My remedy
Is bringing back sweet memories

Rest in paradise my brother. We all come from God, and to God we must all return. May The Creator be pleased with my beloved brother. 1 Love Timothy Webb by @dubb_webb
