$October Update ✨ I’ve taken on my largest commission yet 💎 A client of mine reached out to do a portrait of a family diamond, an old European cut diamond with tons of character 💎 With the rising demand for antique cuts, you see a lot of refinished diamonds on the market. You can tell when a diamond has been recut into an “old” cut, but this one is a true antique. The kind with wonky facets, lack of perfect symmetry, rough facet junctions and a captivating glow. The genuine article 💎 Finished, she will sit at 30x40 inches. Full process video coming soon ✨ In the meantime I will keep posting daily ACEOs for Artober 🎨 and a collection may be on the horizon in November… taken in Annapolis, Maryland by @dublyrefractive$
