I don’t know how to process this. I had posters of you on my walls. You made me see music and words in a different way. How can this be? I just hope you’re back with Subroc now. RIP Dumile by @dubmaxx

White people - we need to donate money, reach out to our local elected officials, and educate ourselves. Not just today. New Yorkers, look into how you can help pass the Safer NY Act to hold the police accountable for the violence they perpetrate against Black people for no reason other than the color of their skin. We need to do everything we can to make this stop. Put your money where your mouth is and use your privilege for real change.

If you’re a white person reading this right now, stop and think about what you’re doing to lift up Black people at this exact moment in time. The “race problem” has always been a WHITE problem and if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Talk to other white people and stop letting any racist shit slide. Be aware of how our privilege affects every aspect of our lives and how it puts people of color at a disadvantage in a myriad of ways. Challenge the deeply rooted, preconceived notions we’ve grown up with about ourselves and those around us. Each of us has a responsibility to address white privilege and do our part to destroy it. You can start by donating to the @mnfreedomfund. Rest In Peace George Floyd. #BlackLivesMatter by @dubmaxx

I remember coming home from college and being bummed the fuck out about shit. I used to walk around the city listening to Infamous and Hell on Earth and Prodigy guest verses in my headphones. I related to the dark parts of P's soul so much. The music was comforting. I've never felt the loss of a rapper this much. R.I.P. Prodigy man by @dubmaxx
