Meet Allie, the other half of DuBose Paper.

Allie and her husband call New Bern, NC home. Her favorite mornings start with a workout with friends, followed by a walk with their sweet pup, Belle, and an iced latte. Whenever she gets the chance, you’ll find her spending time with her nephews (who are lucky to have such a fun aunt).

As our business-minded sister, Allie brings structure, thoughtfulness, and a steady eye to everything we create. We’re so grateful to have her behind the scenes and can’t wait for you to get to know her a little better. by @dubosepaper

Your annual reminder, just in time for holiday card season. Signing a card with your family name should feel easy, but names ending in S tend to leave people second-guessing.

The good news is the rule is straightforward: add “es” and leave the apostrophe out entirely. The Joneses, the Davises, the Harrises.

And if you’d rather skip the grammar altogether, “The Davis Family” is a timeless choice that never goes out of style. by @dubosepaper

A first peek at Taylor and Daniel’s wedding suite.

It all started with a whimsical color palette and a love of butterflies. Taylor came to us with an envelope liner pattern she loved, and it became the anchor for the entire design. From there, we created a custom butterfly die cut for the rehearsal dinner invitation and paired it with the perfect contrasting details card. We carried the liner pattern through on a sheer belly band, then added little pops of color with the envelopes, all tying back to their classic kelly green script invitation.

Meet the DuBose Paper team! We’re kicking off this series with the founder who started it all, Carson DuBose Cannon.

What began with Carson designing invitations for friends and family has grown into something she never could have imagined. Every order still feels just as personal as those first designs.

Carson’s philosophy is simple: quality over quantity. Patience and attention to detail guide everything she creates, from a single notecard to a full wedding suite.

Outside of Adobe Illustrator, you’ll find her reading a good book, learning to play mahjong, hanging out at a local brewery, or spending time with her husband and two sons in New Bern, NC.

For Merri Baird and Christian’s wedding, we wanted out of town guests to feel welcomed the moment they walked into their room.

We loved creating stickers and tags for welcome boxes that carried the same story as their invitation suite. A rundown of the weekend event schedule, her favorite goldfish and his favorite Reese’s Pieces, a note of thanks, and custom door hangers all designed in the same palette that welcomed everyone to the celebration in the first place.

The best weddings feel considered from the invitation to the recovery day after. by @dubosepaper
