Ahead of the release of my upcoming 4-track EP, here’s a one-hour mix of recent influences alongside records that have stayed with me for years, plus three unreleased tracks of my own.
Cold, spacious, and repetitive throughout, the mix sits somewhere at odds with the weather outside. It is both a collection of influences and a glimpse into the headspace that shaped the upcoming EP. Booming and mounting lav mics on the set of a short movie based on "La Haine", the musical from 2024 (which itself is of course based on the cult 1995 classic we all know and love), starring @alexferrario as Vinz. Pics by @emileenraw by @dubrovsky_
