I deactivated TikTok because I’m honestly fed up with people’s mentality and the way they see things in life. There’s a saying that when you’re around the wrong crowd, eventually you become like them… kinda like the rotten apple theory.

Plus, I haven’t really been myself lately. You have no idea how many things I’ve accomplished. I had one goal that I’ve been trying to accomplish for three years, and I finally did it. Now there’s one more thing I need to fully focus on, which means no distractions.

In the meantime, I’ll just post random videos of my life since apparently my ranting and complaining is hilarious. 😑

Either way, I’m focusing on me, staying in my lane, and praying to God I don’t do anything embarrassing or stupid.

🌿🌿🌿

“End your day in God’s care” means surrender the things you cannot control and trust that God is watching over you.

“Release your worries” means let go of the anxiety, overthinking, fears, and problems you’ve been carrying throughout the day.

“Find comfort in God’s love” means remind yourself that you are loved, protected, and not alone—even when you don’t have all the answers.

In simple words:

“Give your worries to God tonight. Rest knowing that you are loved, cared for, and held by Him. What you cannot fix tonight, you can leave in His hands.” 🤍 by @duchessofceylon_

I literally don’t give a shit how you live your life. I’m literally stuck in my 2016 era, I love my own company, and I actually enjoy meeting new people. You guys can come to me when you think I got answers, but I’m busy being me and figuring out my own shit. ✌🏾

When you’re on a path and God is with you, sometimes nothing makes sense. I hardly talk about these things because I know they can freak people out. One of my friends told me that I should speak to someone spiritual because I could relate to certain things I was experiencing, instead of paying a lump sum of money just to have someone explain them to me. So, after asking an akka how the whole system worked, I eventually decided to go.

I spoke about my struggles in life and how I was mad at myself for consistently getting hurt, whether I realized it at the time or not. The first thing he told me was that a person who follows righteousness often ends up struggling the most. But struggling doesn’t mean you’re weak. Sometimes, it means you’re strong enough to face things others may not understand.

He also told me that some of these things are worth laughing about rather than constantly worrying or crying over, because you know your intentions were genuine and your heart was in the right place.

Be kind, but don’t allow anyone to harass, disrespect, or take advantage of you. Keep your heart pure, protect your peace, and remember: God is with you, even when the path doesn’t make sense. by @duchessofceylon_

Some people stand in your shadow not to be hidden, but to hold you steady. Their strength becomes the foundation beneath your success—even when the world never sees the hands that helped build it.

Blessed that God gave me brothers who don’t share my blood, but have had my back for over a decade. They’ve seen me at my worst, watched me fall apart, and somehow still stayed solid. Some people may never know how much they’ve contributed to the person I became, but I do. And to my soul brother—you know who you are. I honestly believe God put you in my life for a reason.

✨

Blood makes you related; loyalty makes you family.

The version of you that you’re trying to become can only emerge when the old version of you dies—not physically, but psychologically.

Divine initiation is a spiritual passage where you are called to leave behind an old version of yourself and step into a deeper stage of life, faith, and purpose. It can feel like everything you once knew is being stripped away—your identity, attachments, beliefs, expectations, or direction—not as a punishment, but as an invitation to surrender, grow, and realign. Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, you go through a period of endings and transformation before emerging with a clearer sense of who you are and where you are meant to go. by @duchessofceylon_

I'm in a phase where I just want to disappear for a while—to forget about everything and everyone, have no responsibilities, no communication, no social media, no Wi-Fi… just me, myself, and nature. 🌿

Maybe I want to take a five-year break. Maybe I just need to be alone for a while, heal, find myself again, and come back when I'm ready.

And honestly, if my whole life collapses by the time I come back… I'm perfectly chill with it.I know what to do. I'll figure it out, rebuild, and start again if I have to.

Right now, I don't want to be around anyone. I just want peace, solitude, and time to heal. by @duchessofceylon_

I've decided to practice Sadhana. 📿
As for becoming a Brahmachari… I'll leave that decision to Future Me.

Sadhana is a spiritual discipline—a conscious commitment to transforming yourself through devotion, self-awareness, discipline, and surrender. It can involve prayer, mantra, meditation, puja, scripture, fasting, service, and mindful living. But it's not about performing rituals perfectly. It's about understanding yourself, deepening your connection with the Divine, and learning to live with greater awareness.

For a long time, I took life seriously and simply tried to live it as it came. Somewhere along the way, though, society's expectations started getting placed on my head—what I should become, how I should live, what success should look like, and what everyone else thought I needed.

Society gives us a script: get educated, build a career, make money, get married, have children, maintain an image, and seek approval. Sadhana asks something different: Who am I beyond all of that? What am I attached to? Why do I seek approval? What actually brings me closer to the Divine?

Sadhana doesn't mean rejecting society or abandoning ordinary life. You can still have a career, relationships, marriage, children, and responsibilities. It's about learning to live those things consciously rather than simply following expectations.

Society says: “Become who the world expects you to be.”
Sadhana says: “Become aware of who you truly are.”

Right now, I'm carrying a lot of emotions, and honestly, I may need to step back from the noise for a while. I don't have every answer, and I don't need to figure out my entire future today. I'm choosing to take this one day at a time and see where this path leads me.

Discipline without obsession.
Devotion without fear.
Detachment without becoming cold.
And spirituality without losing yourself.

Om Namah Shivaya. 🔱📿 by @duchessofceylon_

Forcing someone to be something they’re not, or expecting them to change, is not how you love or care for someone. Sometimes love is simply appreciating people for who they are and having enough respect to let them be themselves.

Each Pradosham carries a lesson, and lately, mine has been about people-pleasing—something I’ve been getting lectured about nonstop.

Is it necessary for me to do certain things? Nope. But I still do them because I don’t want to see someone struggle, even when that person may not appreciate me or may even dislike me.

My form of people-pleasing is deeply wired into obligation and fear. My fear comes from worry—I never want to see someone at their lowest and feel like I could have done something to help. My sense of obligation comes from believing that helping people is part of my dharma, even when it may not actually be my responsibility.

I tend to confuse compassion with responsibility. If someone is struggling, my instinct is to step in, give my energy, and try to make things better. Saying no can make me feel guilty, even when I haven’t done anything wrong.

I’m learning that dharma doesn’t mean constantly sacrificing myself. I can care without carrying someone’s burdens, love without rescuing, and help when I genuinely have the capacity—not because fear tells me I have to.

Not every “I should” is my dharma, and not every person I care about needs me to save them.

Most importantly, I’m learning not to interfere with things that are meant to unfold. Sometimes people need to experience their own lessons, and sometimes life has to happen exactly as it is meant to. Everything doesn’t need my intervention.

For now, I’m taking a step back, reflecting, and figuring out where my responsibility ends and where someone else’s begins.

P.S. I won’t be very active on social media for a while, and I may not respond to DMs. I just need some time to process, reflect, and figure a few things out. ✌🏾 by @duchessofceylon_
