But the protests will not end until John Sundstrom, owner of Lark, makes the reasonable and compassionate decision to permanently end their sale of foie gras. Breeding ducks into existence to be force fed, kept in barren sheds without access to mud and ponds and lakes, and killed at a fraction of their natural lifespan, is completely unnecessary, and there is no justification - not culture, not taste pleasure, not money.
