Happy Father’s Day to the man I’ve looked up to my entire life.

From being a legend on the football field in Houston, to Baylor, to becoming an incredible coach and mentor, I’ve watched firsthand the impact you’ve made on so many people. You’ve spent your life helping others see what they’re capable of and pushing them to reach their full potential.

One of the things I admire most about you is the way you make people feel. No matter who they are, when you’re talking to them, they feel like the most important person in the room. That’s a gift not many people have.

Over the last few years, we’ve grown closer than ever, and I’ve been able to see even more clearly the kind of man, father, coach, and leader you are. Thank you for the guidance, support, patience, and love you’ve given me throughout my life—even when I didn’t always want to hear it.

The older I get, the more I realize how much I want to emulate the qualities that make you who you are. I can only hope to be half the man you are one day.

I love you, Dad. Thank you for being a light to so many people, including me.

Almost a year ago, I left LA and moved back to Houston because I needed to figure my life out. Since then, my dad and I have grown so much closer — we’re so alike, and it’s been a blessing to make up for lost time. He’s watched me grind these past 11 months, doing everything I can to rebuild and get back to where I want to be.

My dad, my mom, my brother and my stepmom have been my rock through it all. I used to feel ashamed of moving back home, but now, all I feel is gratitude.

To show his support, my dad surprised me with a new Jeep. That gesture meant the world. I feel like I’ve finally turned a corner in life, and I couldn’t have done it without my family. They’ve helped me find my confidence again.

I’m a creature of habit! 🤪

Once a month, I go to Local Table, order the same exact meal, and just enjoy some time with myself.

Best $20 I spend all month.

There’s nothing wrong with hanging out by yourself. If you’ve never tried it before, I’d highly recommend ❤️‍🔥
