Ducksoup is Hiring!

We’re looking for FOH + Supervisors to join us this Autumn ~

We’re looking for warm, curious and engaged restaurant people who genuinely love food, sustainably made wine and great hospitality.

We’re interested in what you bring as much as what you already know - we value curiosity, individuality and people who are excited to learn from those around them, share their own knowledge and bring their interests and ideas to the restaurant.

At supervisor level, we’re looking for people who want a little more ownership. Brilliant hosts who can lead a service, support their team and are excited to get involved beyond the floor, whether your interests lie in wine, events, music, community or communications!

Ducksoup is a small, independent restaurant and we want the people working here to feel part of it. Ideas are encouraged, knowledge is shared and everyone has a role in creating the atmosphere and personality of the place.

Back by popular demand On Tuesday 1st September we will be hosting 50% off food for all hospitality workers for lunch 12-3 + dinner from 5pm..

Bookings are essential and they can be made via Opentable or send an email to bertie@ducksoupsoho.co.uk

There will be some walk in spaces on the day but due to our tiny size we highly recommend making a booking

We will also be pouring some special bottles from our archive cellar on the day..

A post looking back on a few of our cellar tastings and to say a special thank you to all of our wonderful importers and winemakers who have taken the time to come and open some very special bottles from the Ducksoup cellar.

It is a huge privilege for us as a team to taste these wines vintage by vintage and share them with our guests.

More details of the @ducksoupsoho cellar book 📖 Hand stitched and foiled, using vegetable tanned pueblo leather that will age and patina with the marks of restaurant life and a soft yellow lining leather. We added a duckling charm to dangle off the ring binder ✨

The reference for the book was @berta_king family address book, well loved and handwritten ! The wines are organised alphabetically using a tab system. The book acts as useful guide for guests to order from as well as an archival document that catalogs all the special bottles and winemakers that move through the restaurants’ door. Ever growing with thoughtful producers and new vintages.
