Well 48 years ago today we lost my Awesome, dedicated loving Dad to cancer. He fought as hard as anyone ever has for 2 years but the good Lord was ready for him so he took him. He was ALWAYS working yet ALWAYS there for me and my Mom. He was a very intelligent man who went to business school to better his H.S. education. He set new records for the courses he took. Dad was working toward 3 goals: 1) his son to graduate from college, 2) to have Grandchildren, 3) to retire and travel with my Mom all around to family. He didn't make it to any of them. But he kept setting the example for us till the day he went to the Lord. I love you Dad. I still miss you.

Im not one to post much but I have to say I am BUSTIN at the seams for Will for this recognition. I think back over the last 12-13 years at the amount of time he and I going to practice and to workout learning to use both legs, to training etc and it's been an absolute BLAST that I wouldn't swap for ANYTHING! And still his Senior year left to enjoy!!! Congratulations Will Millender. Keep going strong and NEVER change from the young man your are. We love you Biscuit!?! by @dudleymillender

Will had their final regular season game last evening and one of his Competitive team teammates, Carson Hahnplays for Mountain Brook. Great to see him. Carson is an incredible player as well and a fine young man and family. Now both teams are headed to their respective playoffs. Best to both. by @dudleymillender

Riley and Mack just continue to run better and better. Her first run today was 16.128!!! and her second run was even better at 15.75. Both these at her home arena which is actually a longer run than most other tracks where she runs. She is just going strong!!!! by @dudleymillender

Our sweet, precious Riley has one of the best rides of her life running a 15.7 at Cleveland last evening. She just continues to profgress and grow in the love she has for barrel racing with her dear partner, Mack. We are SO proud of them. by @dudleymillender

The Vestavia Hills 08 Steamers that Will plays on defeated Opelika today in Gulf Shores to win their back to back State Championship. They ended 9-0. Undefeated in league play with 6 shutouts. These guys have that one time team that is a perfect match. Great young men and incredible families. Has been a blast!! by @dudleymillender

Will's VHSC U18 team defeated Guntersville Saturday and Opelika Sunday to complete an 8 - 0 undefeated league season. Overall 14 - 1 - 2 with goals against of 42 - 10, 11 different players scored, 8 shutouts. Their one lost to a U19 team from Tennessee. These guys are REALLY a special group. Great young men and families all. Now on to Foley for State tournament as defending State Champions. GO STEAMERS!!!!! by @dudleymillender

Will's Vestavia Hills soccer U18 team 39n the Liberty Cup tournament this weekend beating 2 U19 Tennessee teams and a U19 Hoover team. In 3 games Will had 1 assist and 2 goals m. Great job by all. by @dudleymillender

Just saying 'Happy birthday' sometimes seems a little cliche or run if the mill. But my precious wife of 52 years is having a birthday today and I do want to wish her a very blessed, enjoyable Happy birthday. Lord have mercy on you for putting up with me. Happy Birthday to awesome TJ.
