Oh hey! That’s me! 🙋🏻‍♀️
Yes.. really? Who would lie about that? That would be weird.

This picture has been going viral since 2017 and I would love to answer a few frequently asked questions 💖

The #1 asked question I get asked more than ANYTHING is:

“CAKE at 8:45 in the morning?!! Why aren’t you in school!?”

✨I was at school earlier!✨
This wasn’t live. It was that evening AFTER school and my parents were home from work.
Twas not a party, it was me, my parents and my then boyfriend.
We ate cake infront of the tv and took this picture to capture the moment. ✨ Not to mock anything ✨

“Glow down!”

lol.. I was literally terrible then. Trust me. Glow up. 💖✨💅
Also, ew. Don’t talk about a 16 year old. That’s weird.

It was already a super weird thing to share a birthday with. And now there’s also this 🙃 So if you’re here because you found the “911 Birthday girl”
Hi! Here I am! TahDah!
I’m doing jazz hands right now, you just can’t see them.

And if you’re here because I’ve known you since preschool, I’m sorry I post 9/11 stuff all the time. 💖

But here’s ONE MORE!

I don’t even know where to start! THANK YOU KANSAS CITY! And @thepitchkc 💖
Being voted Best Tattoo Artist in Kansas City honestly doesn’t feel real. Tattooing has always been something I pour myself into, but I never thought of myself as “the best” anything, so this means more than I can even explain.

Thank you to every person who’s trusted me with their skin, their stories and their ideas. Every tattoo I do is a collaboration and I wouldn’t be here without the people who’ve supported me over the past 10 years! Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to keep growing as an artist.

I still get nervous, I still overthink every line — but I also know I love what I do, and I’m so grateful that you all see that and keep showing up to make fun memories with me!

Everyone who was also nominated is an amazing artist in Kansas City! I was honored to even been named with them!
An extra big shout out to fellow nominee and one of my mentors in tattooing Cheyenne Furrow. @cheyennefurrow He has always believed in me and has gone above and beyond to teach me and welcome me into this industry. He’s also a bad ass tattooer! Go give him a follow

Thank you, Kansas City. Truly. I love you, always❤️
