Rok Cup Singapore/Asia - Rookie Class Report - The Finale: WRD drivers achieved a P1- P4 sweep in the finale, having dealt with severe adversity and the challenging weather conditions to fight their way to the top and deliver when it mattered the most. We are really proud of the boys for their hard work and determination, all of whom showed grit and racecraft, punching above their weight and bringing home the result! Final Results: Michael Henderson: P1 Aurelius: P2 Lucas Tay: P3 Max: P4 Javan: P6 📸: @roshans_media (Apologies for the late post, had started this on 3 separate occasions but was thwarted. Not sure exactly who took most of these photos so please let me know and Ill credit) P1- P4 confirmation. Michael Henderson( @mikehendersonracing): P1 🏆 Michael had a difficult Saturday despite the excellent pace in practice and qualifying; having lined up P2 on the grid for the start. With the field being so tightly packed, he was able to put in very good consistent laps in the first heat, finishing P2 but jet lag (having just arrived home from the UK a day before the race) and the intense heat, caused a DNS for heat 2. With points being at a premium, this was a significant setback but… 📸: @roshans_media A further DSQ for a slightly underweight go kart, caused by a minor procedural error during the Pre-final meant the solid P2 finish did not count as well, putting him at the back for the final. Michael worked very hard in the lead-up to the race on his mental strength and a situation which would have floored an experienced driver, did not phase him in the slightest. Instead, he showed amazing grit and determination by bringing his absolute A game in the finale, overtaking the entire field and romping to a 35 second victory over everyone else the moment the heavens opened up… Crossing the line in P1 for a dominant win and the first of his young Career! Aurelius (@aurekarting ): P2 🥈 Aurelius delivered his best performance yet, despite the limited practice leading up to the weekend (due to NS duties). The weekend started off rough and despite the initial pace issues, Aurelius stayed calm and, using a WRD developed problem solvin by @duduududumax

ROK CUP ASIA RD 5 quali p4 heat 1 : dnf heat 2: p4 super heat:p4 finals :p4 Started karting from the sim less than 2 months ago, and it was a tough journey as i had much less time than others to practice. Entered the weekend expecting to be much further off, but was just trailing off the top 3 and able to fight for position, although compromised by the extra weight and some setup issues when the track gripped up. entering finals, i was really scared as it was raining and i had never driven the wet before, had a spin during the formation lap, taken out on the start, and another spin during the race causing me to drop 20 secs behind the pack. i was able to adapt quickly, and had a great package beneath me and caught all the way to p4. really enjoyed myself this weekend. Thank you to my family, friends, the guys at @element_motorsports and above all else i thank God. @rokcupsingapore @rokcupasia.official by @duduududumax

Bittersweet ending to my race: Was the best drive of my life and a great result with a trophy to take home. However it also was the last time driving at kf1 as the circuit closes. This was a drive worthy for a proper send off. @rokcupasia.official @rokcupsingapore @kf1kartingcircuit #racing #fypシ #karting #cars #f1 by @duduududumax
