@duecealmty Winner by split decision and also THE NEW COALITION FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION!

#coalition #coalition4 #coalitionmuaythai by @duecealmty

This sequence has soooo many things inside of it.

Slip the straight, Rear uppercut, Lead hook (crack backs)

The teep to the flying knee (doesn’t land) I keep my right peel on his glove on the way down so that I can move with him (he escaped the same setup last round) then landed the right slash (barely on camera)

A jab and instead of a rear kick or knee, a step through up elbow

Then the setup, some bait jabs, real cross to the body to drop his level, then a pin on his lead glove to prevent the check hook. And finally pulling the head down into the rear knee (windshield wipers)

1st Pro Title,
Spent the last 15 years of my life trying to become a professional athlete. Honestly it’s been my only dream since a kid. I feel like I’m supposed to say something super motivational, but this really is just what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

September will be my 1st fight anniversary, and I think my biggest takeaway is that when I opened up to others, and put myself out there, my life opened up. When I was the angry guy, the guy that only wanted people associated with him to win, my wins were more in-house. A few years ago I made the decision to just want EVERYONE to win. I told myself that other people winning doesn’t effect my chances of winning, theres enough opportunity for all of us. Then I started to travel and train at other gyms, and have real conversations with random people I met, with other fighters and coaches, the support came back tenfold. The Us vs Them mentality worked while it did but I needed to grow out of it to get to the next level.

I’m grateful for what this game has taught me. I’m thankful for the people around me.

I’ll meet yall at the top ⛰️💫🕴🏾

⚔️ COALITION 4: CARTER VS. GONZALEZ HIGHLIGHT RECAP ⚔️

AND NEW! 🏆

Duece Carter becomes the new Coalition 126 lb Champion after defeating Jacob Gonzalez by split decision in their highly anticipated rematch.

Carter and Gonzalez battled through five rounds of high-level, technical Muay Thai, with Carter ultimately doing enough to edge out the defending champion on the judges’ scorecards and take the belt home to North Carolina.

🔥COALITION MUAY THAI FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT🔥

August 22 | Coalition 4 | Houston, Texas

The Coalition 126 lb. Pro Title is on the line as undefeated pros Jacob “Hitmane Jay” Gonzalez and Duece Carter collide in one of the most anticipated Muay Thai matchups of the year.

This isn’t just another title fight—it’s a rematch years in the making.

The last time these two shared the ring was in the amateur ranks, where Carter handed Gonzalez the final loss of his amateur career. Now, both fighters have gone undefeated as professionals, and they’ll meet again with the 126 lb. professional title at stake.

Fighting out of North Carolina, Carter enters the bout fresh off a silver medal performance at the WBC World Games in Bangkok, adding international momentum to an already perfect professional record.

Standing across from him is reigning champion Jacob Gonzalez, who is returning to 126 lbs after defeating Nestor Dragustinovis in five-round war at Coalition 3 in April.

“Hitmane Jay” looks to defend the Featherweight Title in front of the hometown crowd while avenging the last man to beat him before turning professional.

An undefeated champion.
An undefeated challenger.
A score to settle.
A championship on the line.
August 22. Coalition 4. Houston, Texas. Don’t miss it. 🔥
