We’ve been praying for a place like this… and @dufte_berlin listened 🥹

I honestly don’t even know where to start because @dufte_berlin has become very close to my heart. Bear with me, because there’s a lot to say about this place.

One location. And somehow, almost everything you could want:
☕ 1 café
🥐 1 bakery
🍸 2 bars
🍜 4 kitchens
🎨 Art exhibitions
🌞 A huge sunny backyard
🍺 Their own on-site brewery
🎶 Music, DJs & constantly changing events

And what I love most is the people.
You’ll see business people having lunch meetings, digital nomads doing whatever digital nomads do on their laptops, students hanging out or playing games, and seniors sitting in the backyard enjoying a beer. Completely different people, completely different reasons for being there.

It genuinely made me smile.

And there’s something for every budget. You can have a proper meal for around €8 and a beer for €4.50, or you can absolutely decide today is the day for creamy truffle pasta and a nice bottle of wine.

That’s what makes @dufte_berlin feel so special to me. Good coffee, good food, good music and good art under one roof. You can come for a quick coffee and somehow find yourself still there four hours later.

And then there’s the backyard.
You’re literally on Kantstraße, one of the busiest streets in Berlin. But once you’re sitting back there, you could honestly be somewhere in Grunewald or Köpenick. It’s THAT quiet. 🌳

Now, the food.
I haven’t tried every kitchen yet and believe me, I will. But if you go, I have one very specific instruction:
Get the chicken shawarma with hummus and the sticky toffee from @abuyahummusculture
This is not a suggestion. This is an order. 😂
The hummus was probably the creamiest I’ve had in Berlin, the chicken was so tender, and the sticky toffee… don’t even get me started. That was a completely different level of comfort food.
Sean went for the truffle pasta from @maniinpastaberlin and was very, very happy with his decision. 🍝

@dufte_berlin also has its own brewery, regular music and DJ events, and the kitchens are open until 22:00.

BeMarket bekommt ein neues Zuhause 💙

Am 17. Oktober bringen wir lokale Kunst, Design und Berliner Kreative zu Dufte in den Kant-Garagenpalast.

Was uns verbindet? Bei uns beiden geht es um Dinge, die mit Haltung und von echten Menschen gemacht werden. Deshalb erwartet euch diesmal mehr als ein Markt: Kunst, Keramik, Schmuck, Prints und Mode treffen auf vier Küchen, Drinks, Musik und ganz viel Dufte-Atmosphäre.

Du holst dir einen Pass, schlenderst durchs Haus und bekommst von jeder Küche einen Tasting-Teller. Kein Menü studieren, keine Entscheidung treffen, einfach loslaufen und probieren.

ABUYA
Der „Super Classico”: cremiger Hummus aus Kichererbsen, Tatbileh-Sauce, gutes Olivenöl, frische Zitrone.

The Curried Cactus
Nacho Chaat, Streetfood-Style: zerkleinerte Tortillas statt Chips, obendrauf die volle Chaat-Ladung.

Mani in Pasta
Caponata Siciliana: süß-säuerliches Schmorgemüse als Basis, cremige Burrata, geröstete Pinienkerne und ein knuspriger Pasta-Chip aus eigener Lasagne.

TACHO
Blutwurstkrokette mit frischer Apfel-Meerrettich-Salsa. Blutwurst mit Liebstöckel und Nussbutter, dazu Granny Smith und frisch geriebener Meerrettich.
