Happy Heavenly 74th Birthday, Mom. ❤️

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish you were still here. I wish we had more time, more conversations, more laughs, and more memories to make together. I wish you could see how much our family has grown and all the things we’ve accomplished. There are so many moments in my life when I wish I could just pick up the phone and hear your voice one more time.

I’d give anything for one more hug, one more conversation, or just one more day with you.

I know you’re still with me in your own way, especially whenever I see a ladybug. I’ll always remember you telling me that when you were gone, that’s how you’d come back to visit. 🐞❤️

I’ve done some pretty awesome things while being in the Marines…but this takes the top spot..There is nothing better than watching your son earn the Eagle Globe and Anchor, just like his brothers and dad did. We are so fucking proud of you @i_carter_007 and we always knew you would excel and become a Marine. As a retired Gunny..I am proud to call you a Marine and as a father I am proud to call you my son.

The past two weeks have been blurry…between the endless bottles of wine, plates after plates of Italian food..it has been an amazing experience. Pictures and words don’t do it justice. I seriously can’t get over how beautiful Italy is. We walked over 70 miles according to our watches, drove over 20 hours through the beautiful country side…endless memories to celebrate our 20 years of marriage. Wouldn’t want to do it any other way.. taken in Italy by @dulaneyka

It still feels unreal that it’s been 9 years. This is one of those days that life isn’t fair...why you, why not take someone that deserved to die...like the murders and rapists. I miss you and miss the days to be able to call you about anything. You always saw the best in me, even the darkest situations.
