@kingkhazm Diaries of a MAD is an experience steeped in the crispy snares, warm kicks, and varied cadences of the true school hip hop aesthetic. The soundscapes paint a dark and thick lacquer of social commentary over a roller coaster of inner turmoil. Instead of boastful emcee smashing, suspicion, love, paranoia, bigotry, betrayal, and human frailty dot the subject matter in equal portions. Watch the full video now! Link in bio. Click “Videos” when you get there.

@khingzotow Khingz sees music as a crucible. An examination of the worthiness of the traditions we live by. This music isn’t about Hip Hop. It’s about experience and realization. It’s about testing the limits of our concept of self and redefining what being human means in a society quickly polarizing between the extremes of fear and greed. The Holy Ghost of Northwest Hip Hop. The legend @specswizard has been dropping innovative hip hop albums since the mid 80s. We had the great pleasure of working with him on his (always) self produced record “gRAPhics.” Out now. Help us celebrate his birthday this weekend with a listen. Link in bio.

From the album "Colored People's Time Machine" by @gabrielteodros . Teodros’ range runs the gamut of human emotional expression, examining such personal experiences as depression, family loss, and lost and found love. Teodros, never content to be pushed into a box, enlists producers with sounds as divergent as those of Bean One (X-Clan, Black Sheep), Justo (The Physics) and Budo (Grieves), and collaborated with special guests, Meklit Hadero and Mexico’s Bocafloja. Teodros streams this synergy into his own veritable flux capacitor, shifting from true school head crushing kicks and snares (Blossoms of Fire), to future molded Kurzweilistic invisible piano stylings (Alien Native). The album also features long time collaborator @khingzotow. Hear more for free at freshchoppedbeats.com

Things I be buying. I want the artists I love to keep making their art. Artists make literally 10,000x more money if you buy the music than if you stream it. And then you always have it to listen to, even when the internet is down. by @dume41
