And suddenly the 2 month trip turns into a residence permit application ❤️ by @dummp_manal

Since I started helping students apply to universities here, I’ve come across a few things that genuinely surprised me.

First, many private universities in Turkey accept applications throughout most of the year. So you might have more flexibility with your application timing than you think. Just remember that availability depends on the university, program and intake.

Second, don’t assume every university has the same application process. Requirements and deadlines can be completely different.

Third, getting accepted and completing your registration are two different steps. Make sure you understand what happens after you receive your acceptance.

And finally, don’t wait until the last minute to prepare your documents.

I’m sharing these tips because I wish someone had explained the process to me earlier.

Day 6/30. More student tips coming soon!

Day 5/30: An unexpected opportunity might be exactly what I needed.

I started by helping a friend get into university in Turkey, and somehow it turned into a new way to work towards my goal.

My first student is officially registered! One down, more to go. 🥹

25 days left. Let’s see where this takes me.

If you’re thinking about studying in Turkey, my DMs are open! 🇹🇷

Imagine being embarrassed to chase a dream just because someone else wouldn’t understand it. Anyway, do your thing. 🤍

I’m trying to enroll in university in Istanbul and sort out my student residence permit, but first, I need to raise $2,350. And with my current tourist stay expiring in 30 days, time is not exactly on my side.

This is more than a money challenge. It’s me trying to give myself a chance to build a future here.

Day 4/30. Let’s see if I can pull this off.

now I’m back. and I’m not here to just exist, I’m here to become that girl again, one page at a time.

starting over doesn’t mean starting from zero. 🫶

follow along, I’ll show you the real process.
