Katie and I were unsure about getting a pup together in a small Seattle apartment, especially when you weigh as much as either of us, but when we laid eyes on you for the first time we knew you were coming home with us. I thank god every day for the adventures you brought us on, for making us laugh, and for the memories we were able to make together. We traveled more miles together than most people will see in their lives. I loved the way you would look out over the clouds and mountaintops and appreciate the view. I loved the way you savored every bite of food as if it were your first. I love everything about you. When you got your diagnosis we were heartbroken, but I thank you so much for loving us enough to keep on fighting and stay with us. I think you knew we weren’t ready to end this chapter yet. I’ll never forget the look on people’s faces when meeting you for the first time, you were a one in a million dog and it seemed that everyone knew that. You will always be with us. Thank you for everything Yeti. We love you very much. by @dumpstergarbage
