A month on since You Told Us To Talk About the Weather was released, we look back at some behind the scenes from the shoot. The film industry has a long way to go to become an eco-friendly industry but as a climate-focussed film we embedded sustainable practices into our work. We’re proud that we: 🌱 Filmed on rewilded landscape across the West Acre Estate in Norfolk. A farm that has committed to rewilding its land to restore soil quality and biodiversity. 🌱 Hired kit from @greenkitlondon to ensure our equipment was as eco-friendly as possible 🌱 Used hybird and electric vehicles to transport crew and kit where possible 🌱 Hired local crew to reduce transport emissions 🌱 Used solar power to charge all our equipment 🌱 Fed the crew on veggie, homecooked meals with no single use plastic You can still catch the short film on our YouTube (link in bio) and help us keep this conversation going. #YouToldUsToTalkAboutTheWeather #Filmmaking #SustainableFIlm  #ActOnClimate #MoreThanSmallTalk by @duna_studios_

From the historic halls of the Guildhall and Mansion House to the stages of @theconduitlondon, we turned ambitious ideas into live experiences designed to inform, connect and inspire during @ldnclimateweek this year 🌍✨ Across the week, our team delivered creative AV solutions, livestreaming, interview units, photography, event production support and event design. Each project called for a different approach, from multiple stages showcasing climate innovation to capturing critical conversations about the solutions we choose to invest in, and helping launch a new global movement for electrification. This is where our live events offering comes into its own: working as an agile, creative extension of our clients’ teams, combining thoughtful design, technical expertise and purposeful storytelling to make complex ideas feel immediate and human. A huge thank you to our clients, our brilliant crew, our partners @sgr_audiovisual and DisCom, and everyone who trusted us to bring these important moments to life. For the launch of the new #ElectrifyNow movement during @ldnclimateweek, we developed a new brand identity that was applied across a range of digital, print and event outputs. From designing the campaign website and a @financialtimes cover wrap to creating campaign materials for the launch at the Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit (which we also produced in collaboration with DisCom and delivered the livestream for), we helped shape the coalition’s presence throughout the campaign. Inspired by the visual language of neon signs, the identity takes a more dynamic and human-centred approach to electrification. Bold typography, bright colours and graphic elements create a flexible system designed to work across digital, print and live experiences. A lot can happen in a few months... 👀 This spring has been one of our busiest (and most exciting) yet. 🌹 Three launch films for the Sir David Beckham Rose with @david_austin_roses 🎥 Filming has been underway on our first long-form documentary (more on that soon...) 🇸🇪 A new campaign film took us to Sweden 🌍 Creative production across ‘Insurance in a Changing World’ with @theconduitlondon, alongside a huge body of work delivered during @ldnclimateweek to help move the climate conversation forward 🪸 The release of a new film exploring the importance of resilient coral reefs ⚡ A new visual identity for the launch of Electrify Now 💙 A film celebrating International Nurses’ Day with @thercn ✨ A cast of animated characters brought to life for WRAP @walesrecycles And that’s only some of it. Behind the scenes, DUNA has been growing too. We’ve welcomed @tilly.compton, @oliverrankin and @margueritepoupinel to the team, alongside some incredibly talented freelancers who have helped bring these projects to life. Outside of work, it’s been a season of change as well, with all three of DUNA’s directors welcoming new babies 🐣 into the world over the past year. Safe to say it’s been a busy few months! What makes this season feel particularly special is that every one of these projects is working towards something bigger. Whether it’s climate action, restoring nature, strengthening communities or championing social change, we’re incredibly lucky to spend our time telling stories that we genuinely believe can make a difference. That’s why DUNA exists. To use creativity to help accelerate positive change, and to work alongside organisations that are pushing the world in a better direction. This is just a snapshot of what’s been keeping us busy. There are plenty more documentaries, campaigns, films and live experiences already underway, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. More than 90% of recycling collected in Wales is processed in the UK, with over half staying in Wales. It feels fitting to talk about climate resilience during a heatwave. We often hear that corals are dying and there is little hope left for them, but this film was created to flip that narrative. Our film for ‘Our Reefs, Our Future’, a global campaign led by @wwf , @thewcs and @nature_org , with support from @bloombergdotorg , celebrates new findings about climate-resilient corals. Researchers have now mapped over 165,000 km² of climate-resilient corals across 71 countries. These are corals that stand the best chance of survival in projected future climates. With action now, we can protect these vital ecosystems which provide food security, coastal protection and sustain local communities across the world. FULL FILM: The Sir David Beckham Rose for @david_austin_roses 🌹 At this year’s @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show, David Austin unveiled their newest rose, created in honour of @davidbeckham as a 50th birthday gift from his daughter Harper. We wanted the launch film to feel timeless, crafted and deeply connected to the natural world - a story of family, legacy, and a flower shaped over years of patience, craftsmanship and expertise. Each rose supports @kingsfoundation, where Sir David Beckham serves as an Ambassador, with £2.50 from every sale donated to the charity’s work protecting heritage, nature and sustainable communities. For International Nurses Day this year, we made a film for @thercn celebrating the extraordinary impact of nurses in the UK and around the world. At a time of growing geopolitical instability, shrinking development funding, and mounting pressure on health systems globally, nurses continue to face shared challenges that cross borders. Shot with real nurses and medical staff in the middle of their vital work across hospitals in Brighton, Hastings and London, this film offers a glimpse into the care, resilience and dedication that nursing brings to communities everywhere.
