Yesterday was a very somber day. My dear furend Danielle had to cross the #rainbowbridge🌈

Danielle @crabbybluebay was the sweetest most adorable most kind and loving little doggie you could ever imagine. And she was an honorary beagle!!! She loved bacon, cookies, walkies, cuddles and naps afterall.

I will miss her so very much. Run free sweet Danielle. We will see you on the other side of the bridge when it was our time. And give lots of lovings to your big sister Lena who preceded you on the bridge.

It’s almost grumpster Monday and therefore time for #grumpsterschool and grumpster kindergarten for the little ones.

This week’s #grumpsterhomeworkassignment comes from @winniejeanbeagle who wants us all to turn in a book report on our favorite book.

Perfect timing. My hooman cousin was here this weekend and I read her “A dog named Doug” at least a thousand times. It’s such a cool book. It’s about a dog named Doug who loves to dig. He even digs up a treasure chest but my favorite part was when he dug up onto the White House lawn and then took the White House tour and even dug holes in the Oval Office. It’s a great book. Spoiler Alert: he manages to dig his way home and gets to sleep in the big bed.

The hashtag this week is #mygrumpybookreport

Hope everyone can do the homework this week so nobody ends up in #grumpsterdetention We even love to see our grumpy angels and angel grumpsters.

If you have an idea for a future assignment, please DM @duncandazzle or @henriettathebeagle so we will have fun and interesting assignments all year long.

Dad is a dope and forgot again!!!!

Last Sunday was the first Sunday of October and he totally forgot to post for the #seniorbeaglespawtyhard party so I’m posting today and declaring that the party runs all week. Since it’s scary season, the theme is Halloween costumes and #treatortreat🎃 (no tricks when it comes to the serious business of treats). So let’s seen your best Halloween costumes.

Through the magic of #seniorbeaglesofinstagram the rainbow bridge will work in reverse all week long so our grumpy angels can come visit and play with us and cuddle their hoomans.

And a special bonus this weekend because it is Aimee @jameson_notthe_whiskey Barkday and gotcha day. She turns Four today. #aimeeturnsfour So I’m mixing special bacontinis 🥓🍸 and streaktinis 🥩🍸 extra strong for her special day (which hopefully means we get her rip roaring drunk so she doesn’t try to eat any of the other doggies).

So come join the pawty and experience the magic of senior beags. All breeds and all ages are welcome (but no moms). And of course @bostondogtommy will set up the buffet of the best cuts of meat right next to the bar.

Eat, drink, dance and then nap. And then do it all over again. 🥓🥩🍗🍖🍕🍔🌭🍾🥂🍻🍺🥃🍹🍸🍷🧉 by @duncandazzle

It’s almost Grumpster Monday and therefore time for #grumpsterschool and grumpster kindergarten for the little ones.

This week’s #grumpsterhomeworkassignment comes from @benny_clever_beagle who wants to know who your favorite Hooman is.

I have a bunch of favorites. Let me start with #stoopidheaddaddy because he takes such good care of you and plays with me and gives me treats. But I also lubs the hoomans at @dogtopiapvvillage and @dogtopiaofberkeleyheights and @gvbiscuitsandbath and of course #ladyaudreyoftreats @audrey5091 and Lady Kelly of Puppercup @thepuppercup (of blessed memory) and my Dogtor until I moved to Arizona (Dr. Marmur).

The hashtag this week is #mygrumpyfavperson

Hopefully all the pups can turn in your homework so no one ends up in grumpster detention. We even love to see our grumpy angels and angel grumpsters.

If you have an idea for a future assignment, please dm @duncandazzle or @henriettathebeagle so we will have fun and interesting assignments for the entire year. by @duncandazzle

RUN!!!!!!!! The #bathtrain ran me over today. And #stoopidheaddaddy put all my bedding and toys through the drowning machine and the burning machine. Now both me and my stuff smells terrible. And I did NOT get any #magicwindow on the way home; all I got was one measly slice of turkey. So RUDE!!!!!

What revenge should I exact????

It’s #grumpstermonday and time for #grumpsterschool and grumpster kindergarten for the little ones.

The week’s #grumpsterhomeworkassignment comes from @benny_clever_beagle who wants to know who your best dog friend is.

Gosh, I have soooooo many besties. My real life bestie is Kilo (we have been besties since we were little puppies (his pesky little sister Kona — aka “jailbait” — photobombed Kilo and I in some of the pics. And also Angel Tessa and her little sis Zoe. And of course my IG bestie is @jameson_notthe_whiskey since his mom sucks too just like mine.

The hashtag for this week’s grumpster homework is #mygrumpybestie

Hopefully everyone can do the homework this week and nobody ends up in grumpster detention. We even love to see our grumpy angels and angel grumpsters. Remember, you have all week to turn in your homework.

It’s @thorn_the_beagle ‘s dog gone 11th birthday and time to celebrate her awesomeness and treat her like the princess she is. I had the privilege of meeting Thorn a couple of years ago at a #grumpstermeetandgreet and definitely give her four paws up. She’s pawesome!!

The party lasts all weekend and I will be mixing the drinks STRONG. 🍾🥂🍸🥃🍻🍺. So let’s drink a drink or ten to Thorn’s continued good health and happiness.

It’s almost #grumpstermonday and therefore time for #grumpsterschool and grumpster kindergarten for the little ones.

This week’s #grumpsterhomeworkassignment comes from @pamuk_leon who wants to know what you are most looking forward to for autumn (if you are in the northern hemisphere) (or spring, if you are in the southern hemisphere).

Since I now live in Arizona (where it is hotter than hell), what I’m most looking forward to is cooler weather so I can lay outside and go on more frequent and longer walks. AND to the return of ice hockey.

The hashtag for this assignment is #mygrumpyautumnspring

Hopefully everyone can do the assignment so that nobody ends up in #grumpsterdetention We even love to see our grumpy angels and angel grumpsters.
