Sorry, can’t. I’ll be in Pacific City with the homies. Same as last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. Yeah next year I’m booked too. Yep. Thx. taken in Pacific City, Oregon by @duncanmchugh

You guys really aren’t gonna believe this one. I move to LA and a month later I’m on TV… I guess this is kind of a follow-up to my last post. Crazy things happen when you least expect it, and in this case, a 1 in 105 chance…

Full episode on Paramount+ (4/7/25) if you’re curious about the before and after!

5 months ago, with an enormous amount of encouragement from people I love and admire, I quit my job and moved back to LA. My new job starts tomorrow which marks the end of an era. Rip unemployment 2024-2025.

On a random day in late September, we finished packing everything I own into my car and I sold everything that couldn’t fit. I didn’t have a lease in LA but I started driving. I stayed on air mattresses and foam pads for 10 days before finding an apartment. I love you guys, you know who you are!

Change hurts but NOT changing was slowly killing me. I felt so unfulfilled and lost. “When’s your next song?” For almost 2 years I had little to no creative ambition and felt totally stuck in life. I was exhausted, always. I was skinny. Even my skin and hair were suffering.

Fast forward… since leaving my job, I visited family in Paris and went to the Olympics, I visited Nana in Wisconsin, went on a game show (airs in April) and dawg I’ve gained 10 pounds of muscle. I’m a weapon now. Please keep this in mind before messing with me. And most importantly, we’re doing so much better psychologically.

You can call me Aaron Rodgers because my darkness retreat is over. I do acknowledge leaving Vegas is a devastating setback in my poker career, so I’d like to apologize to all the @503poker fans. At least Blue Team are game night champions.

And a little cherry on top, my bro and I cleaned out our childhood bedrooms in December as the parents told us they’re moving out of Oregon. Change hurts, did I already say that?

My early 20s have been hard af!!! I’m sure yours have too!!! But we’re warriors and we’re built for this!!! Bless you all and best of luck out there with this insane modern human experience!!! taken in Venice Beach by @duncanmchugh

24% of you apparently think I’m cooked after this haircut but remember it’s all about angles and finding beauty in the nosedive
