Thank you for stopping by the DCD (Dundee Creative District) Creativity Zone at @dundeeday this past weekend!

We brought the community together to create a temporary mural for the second year in row, hosted our annual Dundee Draws event, and had a button making station for attendees to create their own DCD buttons to take home with them and share their love of all things Dundee!

We also unveiled our new DCD branding and we’re excited for what’s to come in the future for upcoming art programming (more on that coming soon)!

In honor, this week’s words for @serwewx payed homage to our beloved @historicdundee. I think he knocked it out of the park, imo. He always does.

This year, we’re proud to honor TJ Weiss as our Dundee Day Grand Marshal.

TJ is the definition of a Dundee hero, always willing to step up and help both neighborhood residents and local businesses. As a parent, he is also active in Dundee’s schools and is well known and loved by many of the children throughout the neighborhood.

His generosity, involvement, and commitment to the community make him a fitting choice to lead this year’s parade.

He’s been at AB’s for 16 years, and rumor has it he tells amazing dad jokes.
