RHUDE is plotting. @rhuigiā€™s latest post puts a green-and-tan golf bag in focus. A similar black bag appeared with @timspoon in March 2025, when he thanked @kodaklens and @rhuigi for ā€œthe one of one.ā€ No retail release or pricing has been confirmed. Would you carry it? #RHUDE #GolfStyle #GolfBags #parvistudio by @dunnie
JOY! Enjoy the journey yā€™all. by @dunnie
RHUDE has entered the golf chat. The Upperhand comes in white-and-black and bandana versions, both with a removable crest ball marker. $150 each, currently listed for pre-order on RHUDEā€™s store. @rhuigi put the white version in focus. Which one goes in your bag? #RHUDE #GolfStyle #GolfCulture #parvistudios by @dunnie

On 12th Street in downtown Oakland, a storefront holds two Golfzon simulators, a putting green, and a program that has been putting kids on golf courses since 2000. Primetime Golf isnā€™t a country club, and it isnā€™t trying to be. You can play 200 courses from around the world, take a lesson, or swing a club for the first time ā€” the simulator records the numbers, tilts to mimic the terrain, and tees up the next ball for you. Memberships start at $49.99 a month, and members can play around the clock. The business behind it is a family project. Preston Pinkney applied for a job with Ace Kids Golf in 2000, shuttling kids from Oakland rec centers to courses they couldnā€™t easily reach. He grew the program from a handful of children to nearly 800 before COVID, and he estimates he has coached more than 10,000 kids in twenty-three years. Ace Kids Golf now sits inside The Pinkney Foundation, which teaches golf alongside financial literacy, and its camps run at Primetime for players 7 to 17. The back room does the rest ā€” parties, gatherings, team nights, no tee time required. On Saturday, October 17, from 1 to 5 p.m., Primetime turns three. Golf, music, discounts, merch, drinks ā€” and three years of a storefront in downtown Oakland that keeps the door open. @primetimegolfoakland #oaklandgolf #communitygolf #youthgolf #golfaccess #parvistudio by @dunnie
Less screen time. More green time. Call the group chat. Grab the clubs. Figure the rest out when you get there. #GolfCulture #GolfLife #GolfStyle #GolfCommunity #ParVIStudios by @dunnie
Before the players brought their own teams to Augusta, there were men like Big Carl. Carl Howard, better known as ā€œBig Carlā€, was part of Augusta Nationalā€™s legendary local caddie corps, a predominantly Black group of men whose understanding of the course became an essential part of Masters history. For decades, Masters competitors were required to use Augusta National caddies. That meant these men werenā€™t simply carrying clubs. They knew the greens, the slopes, the wind, the misses and the places you absolutely did not want to leave the ball. Their knowledge became part of the competitive fabric of the tournament. That tradition lasted until 1983, when players were finally permitted to bring their regular tour caddies. Big Carl became immortalized in one of golfā€™s most effortlessly stylish images: Chi Chi Rodriguez and Carl Howard at the 1975 Masters. The pairing happened under that old Augusta rule requiring players to use a local caddie. And thereā€™s another layer to 1975: that same Masters was the first to include a Black competitor, Lee Elder. So while Howard stood inside the ropes as part of a generations-old Black caddie tradition, Augusta National was only then beginning to confront a very different chapter of representation on the other side of the bag. Howard remained connected to Augusta National for decades. A former coworker remembered working alongside him there for nearly 30 years, describing him simply as someone who was ā€œloved by all.ā€ Howard died in October 2025. Respect to Carl ā€œBig Carlā€ Howard. #BlackGolfHistory #TheMasters #GolfHistory #BlackGolf #parvi by @dunnie
