For fans of Motorsport, Bonneville is sacred. A terrain so vast, your sense of scale is altered. An endless desert of salt, where once a year, a monument of speed manifests, and people from all over the world gather to test the limits of their machines. @downer45 invited me to join the team of @lonestarpicturecars & @dyedonnie in racing Bombshell Betty, a 1952 Buick Super Riviera built by Jeff Brock. Driver @rev_badandy and his team put in so much work and it was incredible to be there to capture. Moab is almost indescribable in its beauty, both in the surreal color palette and unique landforms. @downer45 and I set out to explore this hallowed place, and we barely scratched the surface. We conquered Hurrah Pass, but the La Sal mountain pass would collect its toll. Derek’s KE100 struggled in the thin mountain air, and through sheer force of will, he overcame every rock garden, sketchy descent and high grade switchbacks the landscape challenged us with. It was an unforgettable experience, and I will be back! Thanks to @downer45 for curating this adventure and @prismafilmlab for processing the film. I met up with @kcfwlr in Santa Fe, where we spent a few days exploring, before traveling on to see my sister @_cathartes_aura in Flagstaff & Sedona. We had some car troubles(undiagnosed blown head gasket) but that didn’t stop us from visiting Walnut Canyon, the Lava Tubes and Cathedral Rock. #pentax67 #xpro3 by @duprebrando

Yesterday I put to rest my baby girl, Shae. She was the most gentle and loving dog, who never met a stranger. I will miss her expressive brown eyes, booming bark, the way she tapped her toes with excitement when I got home & the unconditional love she gave me everyday. I rescued her just before a series of traumatic cycling accidents, she was my guide & guardian during the most difficult period of my life. She took a piece of my heart with her when she left this world. Goodnight my sweet Shae-Shae by @duprebrando

The penultimate stage of my adventure went to Seattle where @rebekah.ko and @rwmeyer32 took me to bikepack the Olympic Discovery Trail, camping at Lake Crescent. A truly incredible experience that pushed my legs to their limits. The rest of my time was spent pedaling throughout the city visiting local bike shops and eateries. #filmphotography #leciam6 #seattle #olympicpeninsula taken in Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal by @duprebrando

First leg of my vacation I visited @ryan__maeve and her dear husband Erik. They took me biking around Sauvie Island and Mount Tabor. Climbed Mount Tabor a second time to watch some local crit racing. I spent my last day sipping nascar spritz at a secret river spot #filmphotography #leciam6 #portland by @duprebrando
