Calling all artists, creatives and workshop facilitators! ✨‼️Do you have a passion for sharing your skills, creativity or knowledge ? We want to hear from you! 🫵🏻Thanks to our funding from the fabulous @blagravetrust we’re looking for facilitators to be part of our new programming so tag someone below who’d be great for the job! 🙂‍↕️We’re opening up for EOI and only have a few rules ;🌈 Inclusive and Accessible - our space welcomes all people and all abilities. We would like to hear how you will plan your sessions with inclusivity first, not as an after thought.🎨 Creative - this is vague but we are open to any and all ideas ! We want to hear something new and are open to supporting new ideas that haven’t been done before.Community 🥰 - We want to build communities that last. We’re looking for creatives who want to build a support system and use our space to find their people and help them thrive We will be putting together a formal (😴) application but we are looking for expressions of interest to start those conversations and see who’s out there ! If this sounds like you or someone you know- please get in touch ✨Our DMs are open for any and all questions and we want to finish this post by saying that we are working artists. 2 whole years !! 🔥There’s so much to be said and so many things to feel but I’m so proud of myself 🥹2 years of keeping my promises to myself. 2 years of working towards who I want to be and the life I want to live. 2 hard as f*ck years but so life changing.Thinking extra hard about those I’ve lost to addiction and to those still battling. I love you, and I do it for you. Thank you to every supportive message, convo in the club toilet, thoughtful gesture and kind words. They mean more than you can know. 💋Thank you to the love of my life and all my fabulous friends and family for listening to every worry and every doubt, always managing to make me laugh right when I needed it 🥺💗Thank you mainly to my Mum. It’s her muther-tucking birthday ! ✨Wanted to share this adorable pic of me and @aysh.de.belle for her birthday today shot by @bunnydesignhaus at our @style_assembly a few weeks ago 🔥Working with Aysh is an absolute pleasure but knowing her is even better. As women we’re told that our sell by date is somewhere just after childhood and that to grow older than 30 is the biggest horror of our lives but the gorgeous Aysh De Belle, and so many of the women in my life, show me everyday that with aging comes beauty, wisdom, grace, confidence, authenticity, hustle and abundance ✨🤩So excited for all our plans and to see you flourish more and more. The people yearn for community 💗It’s not often I get to be part of an event where I have nothing to do with it, so this one felt just a bit sweeter ✨A beautiful sound bath on our beach at sunset with @kristencunliffe @sara.pom.para @maxkentx and it was so so needed 🥹Taking a moment to be grateful for this beautiful life, to be able to live in a place where a 5 minute walk greets you with the most gorgeous destination surrounded by likeminded community members 🌈Thank you @mayan_retreats - we will be back! by @durosestudios

The Ketamine Crisis A couple of weeks ago we joined the talk at @housewingz where local creative and cultural organisations came together to discuss the ketamine crisis in Blackpool, and what we can help to do about it. With lived experience voices from @empowermentcharity , @blackpoolyouthcouncil providing insight into our young people, talks from the wonderful @vasilioukerry from @creativeblackpool and hosted by @parkerwords (sorry if I forgot anyone!) - the event was filled with passion and experience. Addiction and recovery are conversations we’re used to but this new drug poses risks that we have never dealt with before. You can buy it through an app and have it delivered to your door for less than a vape. The recovery process is long and filled with challenges, so how do we help people get there, and help them to stay there? 3rd sober community spaces have to become part of our society if we want to tackle this crisis and many other problems we are facing as a community and it was a pleasure to be in the room with so many like minded people 🔥 by @durosestudios

The Iconic Mr Blackpool 🤩 It's been such a crazy time with the Blackpool Style Assembly that I forgot to share this from when Mr Blackpool came home to our wonderful Grand The-atre darling 💋 A show that was so sparkly, strange, silly and sombre; it could not have captured our wonderful little town any better. Becoming a queer working class artist in a town that gets sh*t on regularly is nothing short of impossible but we bloody do it !🔥 We laughed, we cried and we were finally seen. Our story is being shared and admired and seen for the true magic that it is. 🤩 Thank you to the incredible mind of Harry Clayton Wright @hclaytonwright , Aysh De Belle @aysh.de.belle , Sam De Belle @samdbelle , Blake Rainey @blakeyrainey and the whole Mr Blackpool team for putting our community's story on the mainstage.
