Hands up if you can relate 🙌🏻. The dust, the grime and the showering outside! Having no bathroom for 3 weeks was tough and not something I’d like to ever experience again. But, I think this is one of my favourite spaces that we updated (and I will never get sick of these tiles - love them).

I’m treating you to an old school before and after carousel today and celebrating that after 7 years, the house and garden are pretty much complete! How naive I was to think that we’d be done in a year 🙈. Was anyone else as blind as I was going into a renovation?

Ad. I will 100% cry when I can no longer post photos with the bassinet 😭. Here’s a little photo dump of us/life (the last photo is the best).

Swipe for the before… well, the middle and then the before.

The kitchen island is by far our favourite feature. It makes the whole kitchen feel welcoming and we love having friends over and sitting round it.

If you swiped to picture 3, you make wonder if we would do another renovation after all that dust? Absolutely! Every time a really good reno comes up on rightmove, I share it with Nick for him to roll his eyes. He’s not so keen at the moment but I’m working on him.

Thank you to all of you who had our little Cordelia Lucia in your thoughts - your love, thoughts and positivity meant so much to me when I was feeding at 3am on a lonely, isolated hospital ward. I can happily report that she is thriving and we are all absolutely besotted with our new addition to our family. Slowly, we are starting to relax again ☀️🌸💛

We inherited the stained glass in the bay and got very lucky 🌈 - save for inspo!

Redecorating this space completely changed how this room feels throughout the day and makes everything so much prettier!

Thoughts on giving a 3 year old a king sized bed?

He’s officially a big boy! We have a few bits left to do in here but each night, while he is falling asleep, Cassius whispers, ‘I love my big boy room, mummy’. In his toddler bed, he waking so many times through the night and it was soul destroying but since having all this space to himself, he’s slept through most nights since Christmas. Nick & I feel rejuvenated! IYKYK!

Ad | Swipe to the last picture to see how far we have come in our renovation! The pretty stills that I can take today make me smile daily and I will always be grateful for what we have been able to achieve 🫶🏻.
