A massive Smoky Quartz with Black Tourmaline inclusions on display in the Exhibition Hall of the 2018 Saints-Marie-aux-Mines show in Alsace, France. This huge quartz was brought from the Natural History Museum of Paris and is the same crystal that famous comic book artist Moebius used to sketch some of his crystal drawings. A magnificent specimen with very cool history.

A beautiful doubly terminated Quartz laser wand from Diamantina area, Brazil. This one went to its forever home during the 2026 Tucson Show. Although, Quartz is the second most common mineral in Earth’s continental crust, it never ceases to amaze me with its many styles and habits it’s found with. 💎
