Every LIVE Show, we ask the audience to help us create a setting for our adventure. For our show @redhousearts , there was no place like home—SYRACUSE, NY! 🧡💙

What did we learn? Syracuse has the MOST, Redhouse, Green Lakes, and, of course, Dusty & Dott! 🥹

A HUGE thank you to the entire Redhouse staff for welcoming us so warmly and to the amazing Syracuse community for showing up even in the snow!

The Dusty & Dott Company is producing the World Premiere of an original play — The Hurt Monster. ✨

The Hurt Monster is a puppet theatre experience about big feelings – how we carry them, make sense of them, and care for others. In a time when many are navigating anxiety, loneliness, and disconnection, this story creates space for those feelings to be seen, named, and shared.

We’re honored to be supported by The Jim Henson Foundation and backed by the engineering team at Think Variant. The World Premiere will be hosted by Redhouse Arts Center on September 11th & 12th, 2026.

As we build the production, we are actively looking for partnerships that will take this beautiful story to the next level. If this story moves you, we’d be grateful for your support — any donation, large or small, helps bring The Hurt Monster to life.
