Growing up, we look for people to be our idols. Someone we can model ourselves after, show us the way to build our character and shape our self being amazing adults. We form bonds with those people, many of them from childhood to adults. Each holding a space in your heart to refer back to in certain circumstances. I have many idols, heros I can call them. One of which has a birthday today. To the woman who sat with us on a blazing hot mud volleyball game twenty five years ago and is still sitting beside me, I hope you know how loved you are. We hold all these memories and revist them to make us realize that we sure had us a time. Now, we make memories and take every moment, wrap them up and cherish them. You should always document your hair did! This hair has been a journey. From blonde to fried, many cuts, grown out to my natural darker color and this era of my life will stay on the darker side with some lighter tones.

"Sisterhood is a bond of solidarity, shared experience, and mutual support between women."

I am lucky to have groups of women from childhood and adulthood that support a whole entire group of hens, resue you when you fall, laugh when life is cruel and love you regardless of your faults. Our beautiful, kind, tender hearted Melanie's life was full of fun, adventure, risk, chances and sisterhood. When she lived in Florida and came to Tennessee to visit, she never missed a visit with me. Always a phone call away and then she moved here and that friendship never wavered.

Her heart broken by the loss of her sweet Rich, our big bear hugger, put her in a club no one wants, The Widow Club. Her heart was shattered into micropieces no one can understand.

And now my sweet girl is gone. I am still in shock. But my only words to our sweet sisterhood group has been ..." God knew she was lonely, so he brought her back to the love of her life so they can continue their chapter."
