Taul Katz – Clay

‘Clay - From “Barbara Forever”’ by Taul Katz is a captivating instrumental arrangement that presents a true variety of electronic elements. What begins with a shimmering texture in the opening passage soon develops into a beautiful percussive pattern that reminds me a little of classic tongue drum sounds. I also really enjoy the steady pulse.

If I could make one wish, it would definitely be an extended version of this excellent composition. It lasts just over a minute, while the replay button is already getting plenty of use! You can find more music in this style directly from Taul Katz on Spotify:

Düül Suns – Still I Do

Düül Suns from New York impresses us with a lively rock production whose energy and laid-back groove feel truly infectious! ‘Still I Do’ is a strong guitar track featuring a very honest, expressive voice and bringing an authentic retro vibe to your playlist. Timeless riffs and a captivating melody highlight the ballad character and its romantic mood perfectly. Listen to 'Still I Do’ and stay tuned for more releases from Düül Suns on Spotify:

We simply couldn’t asked for a better day for Susquehanna Psych! Having worked with all four bands that played over the past few months, we couldn’t be more appreciative of all of their participation when we put this show together over the past week. And it wouldn’t have been possible without Muddy River’s offer to host and Alex Sader’s work on sound. Thank you, thank you, thank you to @windows_band, @duulsuns, @kidbess, @uncleshake, and @muddyriverbrewery.

And to everyone who came out for the music and supported the bands either by listening intently, donating to the cause, or both, we appreciate you for joining us. We’re so glad that you lived the bands, and in talking to them, they all felt your love and were blown away by the support and the space.

We hope to do this all again next year. For now, though, we’re just so happy with how the day went. Whether we got to know you over the past six months or chatted for a minute at the fest, we’re grateful to have met and spent the day with you.

For the grand finale of Rooftop’s 30th season, seven bold new short films take on love, loss, ambition, identity, and the strange, exhilarating business of being human. After three decades, there’s only one thing left to do: celebrate.

ROOFTOP SHOTS: CLOSING NIGHT 2026 lights up @historicgreenwood tomorrow (Friday, August 21st)! Including a pre-show performance from psych-rock powerhouses @duulsuns, a post-show Q&A with some of the spotlit filmmakers, and an afters sponsored by our friends at @drinklakehour and @singlecutbeer, tickets are available via the link in our bio—but going extremely fast. Secure your seats now, while you still can!
