Welcome to my office, the bustling market!
A day in the life of your resident Alarobo (Supply Chain Hustler)! 🛒
It’s never just a quick market run. It's a strategic mission: haggling with the market queens, securing the best prices, and constantly calculating risk vs. reward.

Case in point: Tomatoes! 🍅
Everyone loves the local Kerewa (Yoruba) varieties. Their flavor is incredible, and they’re often the customer favorite. But here’s the supply chain secret: they are extremely delicate. They mash easily and can spoil within 24 hours of grinding. 🤯
That's why I often have to lean into the firmer Hausa tomatoes. They cost a little more, but their stability means less food waste and fewer losses down the line. It's a constant trade-off between customer preference and practical logistics!
What's your biggest challenge when buying fresh produce? Let me know! 👇 taken in Owode Ede, Oshogbo by @dvc.ridwan
