Big shout-out to one of our long-standing Dvide riders, Martin Ogden, over in the UK. Another great year on both BMX and MTB!

Last month, Oggy wrapped up the Four-Cross Mountain Bike National Championship, then followed it up with another win last weekend at the final Four-Cross National of the year.

Nice one, Oggy! by @dvidebrand

We’ve been out in the South Bay this past week.

Working alongside the YMCA of San Diego County’s Expanded Learning Program, we’ve been spending time with local students, getting them on bikes, going through safety, and sharing the fun of riding bikes.

That’s what this is really about, not just teaching skills, but giving them something they enjoy and can carry with them.

Big thank you to our partners as well, especially Vans, for all the giveaways. The kids have been earning them throughout the week, and it’s meant a lot. by @dvidebrand

Maddie DeSantis has been part of our sponsors and programs for most of the time since 2018. Along with her family, they’ve been some of the best people to be involved with our team — always representing. Maddie is having another great year, racing two days at the Fall Nationals in Phoenix and pulling off another double–double in class and cruiser. Way to go, Maddie!

Five years ago, Gus Cruz showed up to the track for the first time (@sandiegobmxracing) for our BMX Pro For A Week Summer Camp. He experienced BMX for the first time, was instantly hooked, and started racing right away and returned to camp week after week.

Since then, Gus has become a staple of our Dvide Team — winning multiple State Championships, podiuming at Nationals, and racing in two World Championships. Last month, he doubled at the State Championships again (adding two more State titles) and placed 2nd in the Holeshot Challenge.

This weekend, Gus made us all proud once again by winning his first Expert National (11x) at the Fall Nationals in Phoenix, along with two Cruiser wins for the weekend.

Gus also continues to support and give back to our Summer Camps, helping mentor our new campers.

Well done, Gus! by @dvidebrand

This past weekend, our Dvide Team wrapped up their State season with the State Finals on home turf at San Diego BMX, with a full showing from the crew.

Alexander Jock finished 2nd on the day and Number 2 for the year.

East Coaster and now San Diego resident Kye Kellner pulled off a 2nd for the weekend and 3rd in the series.

Our Team Manager Justus Standley is back on it and grabbed a solid 4th place in the final.

Maddie DeSantis did what she does best — doubled over the weekend and claimed double State Champion titles for the year.

Like Maddie, our man Gus Cruz continues to progress, doubling up and adding two more State titles to the bag. Gus also competed in the Holeshot Challenge on Saturday, impressing us all again with an amazing 2nd place in the final and his first taste of prize money in his back pocket!

Mr. Consistent, Jon Callicott, netted a 3rd and 4th over the weekend and finished State 2 on both bikes. Great job, Jon!

Dale Holmes picked up a couple of 3rd places for the weekend — and all in all, it was a great weekend for the Dvide squad.

Next up: Phoenix Fall Nationals and Grands for our plate-chasing members of the team.

Big shout-out to our sponsors for making it all happen!

Good weekend for the Dvide Team! Gus Cruz was over in Pflugerville for the Texas Nationals last week and came home with some hardware. Up next — State Championships this weekend!
