🩸🦌🩸

for my final semester painting, i flipped the dynamic of predator and prey by adorning this beautiful gazelle with a trophy hat of a ferocious lion 🦁 of course the best way she could wear it was by stabbing her horns right through its snout!

had such an adventure painting this with oils, obsessed with the outcome 🐾🪘 by @dvidsteinart

The Antisun 🌕👹

wanted to create some horror art so i came up with this monstrosity. my idea was to construct an evil version of the sun that swallows light instead if producing it. took some big inspiration from the moon in the legend of zelda, and had this concept swirling around in my head for quite a while 🌞

may be entering a horror art phase soon . . . what do you think? by @dvidsteinart

THESIS ONE 🌺

for my first senior thesis project i created this realistic portrait using colored pencils, and transformed it with a digital makeup. my sister was an amazing model, and was serving hard enough that i didnt have to compensate too much. this was an exploration of how i could take the traditional medium i work best with and reimagine it through my digital skillset. definitely planning on doing a lot more of this 🟠🌿💗 by @dvidsteinart

CHALK FIT 2021 😷🖤

such an amazing experience to represent FIT Illustration and bring this chalk creation to life! i became inspired by the over-abundance of masks within our current society, and wanted to pay tribute to the top fashion school in NYC. beyond proud of the final result, and am so honored to be surrounded by so many talented friends! come see her for yourself on 28th Street 🧩 #ChalkFit #ChalkFIT2021 taken in Seventh Avenue (Manhattan) by @dvidsteinart
