Growing up Catholic it was difficult to maintain a relationship with God. Following rules always felt like it was “the only way you’d get into Heaven”. Going to college I didn’t know Him, didn’t speak to Him, didn’t read about Him. I hit rock bottom, and only wanted to deal with my trauma alone. Never wanting to burden anyone. I was drinking, going out, relied on toxic relationships and friendships for reassurance, I didn’t recognize myself anymore.
I would show up to church because I couldn’t let certain people down. I couldn’t let them know i had pulled an all nighter, and gone to church the same day - and one day it clicked.
They knew. I didn’t have to tell them, but God could. They were aware that I was probably juggling my Holy life and worldly life - try to make them work together. And they never judged me. If anything, they handled me with the same grace Jesus has for His children. and it all clicked.
He created the Heavens AND the Earth. They are not in the same category.

On March 20th 2026, I decided to give my life to Jesus; to dedicate every day, every decision, every human interaction, to Him. This is my public declaration, my prayer to God to allow me to speak of the good news. May you keep me in your hands Lord, so I can touch not tens, or hundreds, but thousands - In Jesus Name!
To all my friends, the beautiful humans that continue to cultivate and strengthen the person I am becoming, because of you I know of Him and His Light. 🩵 Thank you

The amount of immense love i have for your children and their laughs 🩷
To my parents, who it’s their first time living life. Thank you for the ups and downs. For taking care of my brothers and i. For never giving up. For working so hard to give us what we have, and wanted.

Took a minute for me to decide whether i should post this or not. Asked the Lord & some of my close friends what they think, and well.. here it goes.
I’m not an influencer. Nor do I want to be. I’m not here for the views. I’m not here to force Christianity on anyone. Just here to share my testimony of how God tends to work on His children. Yes. IT IS THAT SERIOUS. He is everywhere, He is Everything & IN everything.

For the longest, I thought late night gym sessions & running 6mi + was for my health - or to show off how active/strong I am. but nope!
Eventually, the Holy Spirit convicted me of my intentions. Of my heart in the sport.
“How silly are you to think that YOU are the reason you can squat that much weight? Run far? Cook/eat the meals you make?”

I was wrong.
It wasn’t an injury that took me out ~ THAT stopped me from running my second marathon.
It wasn’t me forcing myself to the gym that caused my ‘downfall in the gym’ as some would say. I didn’t get “lazy”

FASTING.

DENYING my flesh.
DYING TO MY FLESH.
DYING - to my temptation of proving to MYSELF that I can do it all. and Alone.
God will humble you, and shape you into the person you are meant to be.
Giving my life to Jesus didn’t mean i became lazy with my fitness — NO.
It meant I had to let go of pride, insecurities, “acceptable sins”.
So we begin again from scratch.
Prayer and Worship before & after every meal, every warmup, every lift, every stretch/recovery.

and i’ll die, again & again, to my flesh if it means I GET TO serve the One. ✝️✨ #wetrainforHim taken in Texas by @dvlomak
