Blue Devils 2026 - Zei

Bass Trombone/Euphonium 3 Cam

Finally posted the cam lol

I have the privilege and honor to say that I am a part of the 2026 Blue Devils, I love all the hard work that everyone had put in this season. Even on our hardest days it didn’t even feel like we let it bother us and we pursued to push ourselves to be the best version of ourselves we could be, so all I can say is thank you for everyone that was a part of this season, truly unforgettable and again I’m glad to be a member of the 2026 Blue Devils :)

Also shoutout Cole for letting me use his cam his insta is: cole_hoerch

$I feel like I just need to post and stop caring about it being perfect and just let the mistakes happen so that way I can keep moving forward as a musician. Anyways here’s me playing an unaccompanied piece called “Stutter Step” and this is really just the slow melodic part of the piece and I think something I should really start to try and nail is my starts on notes (basically stop fracking and to not have any “twa” motion happening) Hope you’re all doing well and have a good day and lmk if you have any comments you would like to share please and thank you :) by @dvpractices$

Hey guys,

Really sorry that I’ve been inactive lately I’ve been busy with a lot of things so to make up for it here’s me playing the planets with the UCLA philharmonic. It’s a free concert on Dec. 10th idk the location.

But okay starting off with mars, i think I’m doing an overall pretty good job I can’t think of any problems on a deeper level but on the surface I think I’m doing pretty good.

Now with Jupiter holy moly I love this piece so freaking much. Now how I’m doing, I think Im thinking in the same way as mars like, I think I’m doing really good on the surface but I’m not sure on a deeper level.

Now Uranus, Uranus is soooooo difficult and it was very hard learning it at the beginning and at first it wasn’t very enjoyable but now after practicing more and more I’m starting to understand it and I’m starting to like it a bit more.

1 slide: Mars
2-4 slide: Jupiter
5-7 slide: Uranus

And again if anyone has comments leave it in the comments or just dm me about it thank you :) taken in UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music by @dvpractices

Hey everyone this is my first post and for today I’m practicing these three audition excerpts

1.Symphony in F Minor No 4
Okay first thing I want to talk about is that I definitely should practice more with a met and try to slow down and breakdown the 16th-note phrases to try and achieve smoother runs

2. Bydlo
Holy….okay this one is definitely going to be a challenge for me but I can definitely work on some slurs and especially partials going up to the G# and also starting notes with a more stronger and clearer sound

3. Second Suite in F: 1 March
Okay this one is not too bad but again I can work on some more partial slurs and try to maintain my sound all throughout the etude

As always please leave advice or comments in the comments section thank you :) by @dvpractices
