Happy World Animal Day. 🐭🧡
Animals have always been such a huge part of my life — but somehow, the smallest ones ended up taking up the biggest space in my heart. 🥹
From the mice I care for every day, to unexpected little rescues, to me inevitably spending half of every zoo visit staring into the rodent enclosures… 😂🐭
Every one of them has reminded me that no animal is “just” a small animal.
They all have their own personalities, their own little lives, and they all deserve kindness, respect and proper care.
So today is for all of them — the tiny, the overlooked, the misunderstood, and the loved. 🧡

Three tiny striped field mice, one very unexpected little journey. 🥹🤎
These three babies were found huddled together under plastic at a garden center when they were only around 10 days old, with their eyes still closed. They came into our care, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for them and watching them grow ever since. 🐭🐭🐭
From tiny sleepy babies needing help to bright-eyed, curious little explorers. 🥹
Watching their eyes open, seeing them discover their surroundings and become more confident every day has been so special.
They grow up way too fast. 🤎

Meet our tiniest little rescue. 🥹🤎
This little girl was brought to Szentendrei Kisállatkert after her finders thought she was a baby dormouse — but she turned out to be a tiny wood mouse, only around 10 days old. 🐭
For now, her days are mostly filled with eating, washing and lots and lots of resting. 🤎
I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of this tiny face… 👀🐭

Nala takes her salad very seriously. 🥬😂
No distractions. No unnecessary thoughts. Just lettuce.
Honestly, I respect the dedication. 🤎
Does your little one have a favourite veggie too? 👀
