Dwarmis Concepción has been making clothes her entire life. As a young girl growing up in the Dominican Republic, she filled sketchbooks with dolls dressed in outfits inspired by her mother. Now, she's still creating—only her workload has scaled up just a bit since founding her namesake brand. “People always ask me how I have the time [to do everything] and I think it’s because I don’t watch TV,” she laughs. “I get home and I’m still working; people think it’s ridiculous, but it’s true. I have always done that and I don’t know why, but I love to make stuff.”⁠ ⁠ That same sense of drive and boundless creativity fueled the Dwarmis Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Concepción, who loves salsa, merengue, and reggaeton, felt this was the right moment to grow the brand while also showing how the clothes move in real life, an idea that feels quite personal. “I live and breathe the design, and I wear the collection,” she says. “If I don’t want to wear it, who is going to want to wear it?
