How to ground your house with 2 ground rods.

We're grounding the meter can today. Start with a grounding bar so any electrician or the power company can tie in later.
Run your ground wire down to the knuckle clamp, onto the ground rod, then over to the second rod six feet apart.
I tighten every clamp with my adjustable wrench. You don't want anything moving at all.

Follow for more electrician tips.

How to hook up a single pole switch with a light.

Black wire and white wire coming in. Both go on the gold screws. The black is your hot, the white is your switch leg. Then your ground.
Push it all the way back in the box and screw it down. I use my Milwaukee drill.

Part 2: don’t leave your wire hanging. A cable stacker holds up to 4 wires on the stud.

Kill the power at the panel before you touch any of it.

Comment WIRE and I’ll send you the full walkthrough.

How to hook up an AC disconnect, start to finish.

Line side on top. Black to white, left to right. Then your ground.
Tighten them down and give every wire a pull. If it moves, it’s not done.

Pigtail is 12-2, 6 feet, half inch. The 90 goes into the AC. The straight end goes to the disconnect.

Kill the power at the panel before you touch any of it.
