A couple highlights from my recent birthday trip to Santa Fe with a couple dear family friends — it was the perfect way to spend it this year. Such beautiful land, and sweet tenderness this place beholds. Been meaning to get this posted but it hasn’t been a priority, so here it is for my diary feed. #livelifewell #naturenurtures #santafe #fallvibes #simpleabundance by @dwellgirl

I love collaborating on restaurants and offices, not just homes. Does your restaurant or space need a refresh?

Sometimes a few intentional updates — new chairs, bar stools, or other thoughtful finishing touches — can completely change how a space looks, feels, and functions.

With over 20+ years of experience in design, construction, sourcing, and project management, I help clients make smart design decisions while also bringing access to designer, wholesale, and trade resources from vendors across the country.

The goal is simple: great design, thoughtful purchases, added value, and savings whenever possible.

Whether it’s a restaurant, home, office, bar, or other space that could use a fresh perspective, I’d love to help. Reach out and let’s talk about what we can do with your space. #restaurantdesign #officedesign #homedesign #projectmanagement #designoklahoma by @dwellgirl

Early mornin’ hikes with these spirited creatures always touch my being. Taking time to talk to these sweet deer telling them how beautiful they are, and how they bless me so closely with their gentle presence is such a gift — connection with deer remind me so much of my grandfather who help raise me, it’s as if his spirit was right there with me. In these still quiet moments it soothes my heart and confirms life is truly worth living when you connect yourself with nature and meaning in the world. We get to choose where we place ourselves and we get to choose outcomes, there is always a better choice if you’re questioning yourself. If it leaves, let it go. If you feel a nudge, follow it. I hope each of you reading find meaning today, and find God somehow shine in your day. #naturenurtures #simpleabundance #deer #meaningful #love by @dwellgirl

The Black Keys live and up close were an energy I could connect with everyday, such musical talent. So much thanks to a very dear friend for the connection, and to the band. We all need live music in our lives! #theblackkeys #musicheals by @dwellgirl

Recent days spent in the desert can change you — it forces you to reflect on yourself more than almost anywhere else. The calm warmth and movement of the sun as it rises and sets feels connected to everything within you — the stillness, the quiet, the gentle newness each day brings. It carries a feeling the past can no longer replace.

The organic architecture and thoughtful design of this unbelievable home my family friend acquired speaks to the architecture of one’s own being. It sparks emotion, reminding me that what is natural and truly real within each of us is something worth pondering, quietly and honestly — no need to try so hard — much like architecture itself — beyond all the surface and superficial people, posts, and stories constantly surrounding us begging for attention. Our purest potential is still there, waiting to be found when we quiet the chaos long enough to really hear it. The desert definitely has a way of reconnecting us to our soul and shape us even more. Grateful for every trip to the dez. #joshuatree #reflection #livelifewell #purepotential #architecture #designstudy #designbuild #space #landscape #love #naturenurtures by @dwellgirl

Spring — a season of new growth, simple beauty, quiet moments, releasing old patterns and welcoming new beginnings. #love #simpleabundance #livelifewell #naturenurtures by @dwellgirl

International women’s day. Grateful for all the projects lately and more to come, working with people in their homes (and businesses) brings me a lovely joy. Though it requires a lot juggling, I love the challenge and refinement each day brings.

I’m picking up the camera for a sunset shoot today with a really good friend to capture some yoga poses for her skillset and gift — preparing has reminded me of my love for the human subject that I’ve been missing. My compassion for others is what I like to articulate into imagery or creating a story. I’m looking forward to more of it and more often between projects whether I post or not. Btw, posting is so overrated these days, the less posting the better right (smile)?

Love and safety to this precious one pictured here who is making solid moves with wedding photography and making herself more known in Italy. Love her, and her great light as well as ALL my lady friends and women who are staying true, building businesses, and serving other fellow humans to shine their light in this world. #womensday #photography #naturallight #humanlife #humansofjoy #capturethesoul #fortheloveofart #loveaboveall by @dwellgirl

Well, I intentionally got up early this morning and went to the gym without my phone — and honestly, it felt really good. I highly recommend practicing presence. I plan to do this more often. Even my circadian rhythm benefited.

There’s something powerful about simple abundance when we allow it — much like the drapery work pictured (I had to add an image for fun).

Wishing everyone a beautiful day. Stay warm, Okies. #simplicity #simpleabundance #designforyou #designlife #customdrapery #interiors #livelifewell by @dwellgirl

This Friday @eatcarlettis officially opens to the public, along with the reimagining and rebirth of The Kentucky Club.

Loved collaborating on some key design elements for this space steeped in history — it turned out so lovely. The rich burgundy and deep green Italian marble, unlacquered brass accents, custom booths, layered drapery, walnut tabletops, and the bar stools and chairs in The Kentucky Club all come together in a cohesive palette of moody burgundy, deep green, and golden tones. I’m looking forward to tasting the sacred Italian family recipes they’ll be offering to OKC. Wishing them sweet success. #reimagining #design #decor #projectmanagement #bardesign #restaurantdesign #timelesstouch #okceats by @dwellgirl

Thank you for leaving your mark behind Frank Gehry. For the record, Mr. Gehry didn’t design NYC Guggenheim (pictured here) but he did however have his precious hands on Spain and Abu Dhabi Guggenheim which I have yet to visit. Nonetheless, his eye for shaping architecture and bringing the curves to play was one of a kind. #frankgehry #architecture #rip by @dwellgirl

Thankful to wake to another sunrise, take a walk and sit with a smoked pine latte at Clarity Coffee. Truly grateful to have another opportunity to live life well and make good choices. Not just today, everyday I rise I choose love and to live with intention. May love be with every one of you each day you get to breathe. Even to the hurting and ones carrying hate, for they’re often the ones who need love and acceptance most.

Gratitude is a fullness of heart that moves you from limitation and fear to expansion and love.
