From being rejected by local Vermont magazines to being published over and over again…

Here is what changed ⬇️

I stopped trying to force a path that didn’t work for me (Vermont editorial), and embraced the path that did work (real estate , architecture and design photography).

When that realtor asked me to shoot a listing after not having picked up a camera in years, I ALMOST said no.

I was terrified, rusty, and convinced this would be a bad idea.

But I said YES anyway.

That one yes changed the trajectory of my life and career forever.

Sometimes the path you stumble onto accidentally is exactly where you are meant to be all along.

If you have SOME foundational skills in photography and feel stuck, rejected, or like you are in the wrong niche, maybe it’s your time to try a different door.

We wanted each guest suite at the Vermont project to have its own look and feel. While the room across the hall went dark and moody, we kept this space light and airy, with white-washed walls, soft colors and textures, and the coolest commissioned piece from artist @chris_firger.
