🦋Solo painting show @colourandlightgallery on now

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A huge thanks to Belinda Mason for hosting my solo exhibition at her fabulous gallery, @colourandlightgallery, and to those who visited over the weekend. Thank you🙏🏽

With a focus on photography, I haven't shared much of my painting - so it's been nerve-wracking to have this collection on show! My garden has been a lifeline for me over the years and this is a very special collection.

(Read more about this in my pinned post).

Last day to view is 30th October, at Colour + Light Gallery, 54 Clyde Street, Balclutha.

You can also come to my artist talk at 1pm, Wednesday 14th October at the Balclutha Community Library.

My solo painting exhibition "Garden Views" opens soon at @colourandlightgallery in Balclutha🌸

Please join us for opening night from 6pm, Friday 2nd October🥂✨️

It's a celebration of my garden - the joy it has brought me over the years, the birds & critters🦋🐝 who keep me company, the colourful flowers, and learning to grow with the seasons (see my pinned post for more about the 'why').

It also marks 10 years since my last (and only other) solo painting show, which was back when I was living in Tāmaki/Auckland.

Colour + Light Gallery is owned by artist @belindatheballerina , at 54 Clyde St, Balclutha. See @colourandlightgallery for more details. taken in Colour + Light Gallery by @dwindleriver

This time last year I had my first major solo exhibition - 12 works on display at @dunedinairport ✈️

It's the first time I printed photos on a larger scale, and the first time exhibiting my work in such a public space.

I was lucky to get a wonderful feature in the @oamarumail as the collection celebrated what I love about East Otago - wildlife, mountains, coastal scenery, and stunning skies😍

This year I have narrowed my view and have a collection of garden paintings on exhibition now at @colourandlightgallery✨️ taken in Dunedin Airport by @dwindleriver
