I still look for you, in every cat I meet, during my morning runs.

In my mind, you're there, distracting me and my tired body, for a couple seconds. "How are you, human? It's nice to see you getting active again. The outdoors ain't that bad right? I'm having a blast here on the other side. You're annoying, but I miss you. Think of me in every cat you meet."

I still cry at night when I see cat rescue videos online. The thought of cats being independent, yet helpless creatures, just softens my heart. There's so much things I wish I could've done and change. But I know your purpose was to teach me a very important life lesson. How a human heart is capable of loving, sacrificing, and grieving.

GIVING THEM THEIR FLOWERS ✨

The anniversary masthead is always a challenge coz not only is it forever embedded in history, but also, it's our way of communicating and pouring our hearts out to the world, how much we've grown with the year that was. This year, I wanted to make it personal. 4 decades ago, Ma'am Amy, Ma'am Angie, Ma'am Maribeth, Sir Mike, and Ma'am Millet found a home in The Philippine STAR. 4 decades later, they're still holding the line for truth. They've seen it all. How PhilSTAR managed to survive and came above and beyond some tumultuous years, ever changing landscapes, and fast-paced technological evolution in media. But here we are. Celebrating on top. Under one galvanized roof.

These design studies may have never seen the light of day, but I will always hold the message carved in my heart. As it's always fascinating to think that for some people, home is where you find honor in serving, and comfort in guarding the truth.

Congratulations to all our loyalty awardees!

I love working with startups and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These escape projects pull me out of my usual routine, and allow me to come back with a clearer view of the ones brewing on my drawing board.
