WHAT A ROAD IT’S BEEN! 🥊🔥
Words can’t describe how proud I am of this team. People ask me all the time, “How do you keep getting so lucky with all these great fighters?”
Let me make one thing clear — THIS ISN’T LUCK. 💯
My boxers and I put in the work every single day. Early mornings, long nights, sacrifices, discipline, setbacks, lessons, and countless rounds when nobody is watching. But beyond the hard work, there’s something you can’t fake: CHEMISTRY & TRUST.
These kids trust me. They believe in what I teach them, and I believe in every one of them. We’re building something bigger than wins, medals, and rankings. We’re building CHAMPIONS — inside and outside the ring.
Just watch… when it’s all said and done, I truly believe a lot of these kids are going to become LEGENDS in this sport.🥊🏆
And somebody let me know… what gym in @usaboxing is producing more #1 and #2 ranked fighters?! 👀🔥

What a Surprise! God had stored for us 🥹. My son Johnny @j_lukeleija17 told me three weeks ago that he had a dream that they all won. I told him to pray over that dream 🙏🏼and it became reality. In the 59th Anniversary of the Silver Gloves Nationals @nationalsilvergloves @ringside_boxing Our boys will forever be remembered as the four brothers who won 🥇 🥇🥇🥇together. I am proud of my boys regardless. Whether they win or lose. I witness the hard work they put in every single day. They deserve all the applause, recognition and love in the world. With Gods Blessing all their hopes and dreams, will come true 🙌🏻. It takes a whole lot of work, dedication and discipline to achieve something like this. When two states come together with one mission, the same hunger, and absolutely NO EXCUSES, that’s when real GROWTH happens, LESSONS are learned, and CHAMPIONS are built! 💯🥊
First, a huge THANK YOU to Coach Axel @el_taino_r for helping us put everything together and making sure we got the WORK we came looking for! 🙏🏽 And a special thank you to @differentbreedboxing_ Different Breed Boxing for opening your gym doors and welcoming not just multiple gyms, but TWO STATES to come together, share the ring, and push each other to another level! Better late than never… ❤️🙏🏼🥊. Last Friday, August 28th,my son Juan-Diego turned 15! 🎂🎉
Juan-Diego, I want you to always know how incredibly special you are to me. Watching you grow from that little boy into the young man you are becoming has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Sometimes I look at you and wonder where the time went. 🥹❤️
You have always had that special something about you — your charm, your personality, your heart, your determination, and that smile that can light up a room. But beyond all of that, I admire how hard you work for the things you want. You are talented, gifted, and blessed in so many ways, and I pray that you never forget where those gifts come from.
The Bible says, “Every good and perfect gift is from above.” — James 1:17 🙏🏽 At 15, you still have so much life ahead of you. There will be great days, difficult days, wins, losses, lessons, and moments that will test you. Ring experience is earned, not given. Mavericks first loss, I’m pretty sure taught him more in three rounds than a hundred rounds of sparring ever could. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, even the young ones. We are so proud of him, to step into that squared circle and test his limits. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Coach Jason Galarza (@sohk_boxing) is the man behind the School of Hard Knocks which continues to make waves in Florida boxing.
